We had some well pump issues in early May and I contacted these people since hey were local. They actually sent someone out right away. Determined that we just needed a new switch - not a new pump. They said they would order the part and come install it the following week. I get a text telling me that they ordered the part, but they would not be able to come till the following week. The following week came...nothing. When I called to inquire, I left a voice msg. A couple hours later I got a nasty text message telling me I could "go elsewhere" if I wanted. This is at Tuscarora Scout Reservation; which I cannot operate w/o water - May is VERY BUSY. To this date, I've never heard back from them. Giving one star is a serious compliment...cuz I didn't want to leave any. read more

The estimate provided was within the range of other well drilling estimates we obtained. We decided to go with Ayres as Jim was considerate of our needs as he answered all our questions and informed us of each and every cost involved in drilling a new well. HES A CROOK! Stole tens of thousands of dollars from my wife and I. This guy is all talk. He was supposed to install a slab for our new modular home, install septic/run conduit, run electrical lines from the the street, install a well, and run crusher stone for a driveway. Project was supposed to begin prior to Memorial Day weekend of 2021 and be completed by mid summer. NEVER SHOWED UP after he got out $27,500 deposit. Didn't even have a single piece of material dropped on site. We than were forced to loose another 10k on our modular home after being forced to delay it 3 times....he also stated that it was delays caused by the town (for over two months) well happens to be that he never talked to the town (after I called the town myself to see what the permit status was). We are now in the legal process to get all of our stolen funds back along with discussing with NY State & BBB. read more

We needed our well dug and were in a desperate situation. There were guests in our home when the work was being performed so Jim brought a large water tank so everyone could continue without a hiccup. The job was completed in a timely fashion and in budget. Can't ask for more than that. read more

We had a serious well issue in that our well which was over 30 years old, began pumping muddy water. Not only did Ayers fix the problem they fixed it within the quote they gave us. We own a horse farm & as they could not get here for a couple of days, they brought 400 gallons of water for us & the horses. Great people to do business with. read more

I would rather not have water than deal with these arrogant, rude, self entitled people. They emptied everything out of my shed then left it to get rained on, then when I asked if it got rained on they lied and said no even though the ground was soaked. Then they asked me if I had a tarp. To which I replied "No." They then went on to laugh and say that their glad its not their stuff hahaha. Then proceeded to leave with leaving everything out to the elements once again. They refuse to work with you on anything, its their way or no way. read more

They don't show up when scheduled, over and over and over again. They don't call to say they aren't coming. I called to say equipment they had installed was leaking, and 5 days later, they haven't shown, although they had promised to be here day after day after day, and never called. This is at least three times this has happened. Rude. Unprofessional. Don't deal with them. Want an expensive well dug or expensive equipment installed? They'll show up. After that, forget it! Neighbors say the same thing. I wish I had never dealt with them. I'd give them NO stars if possible. read more

These people drilled my original well about 16 yrs ago and I was happy with the result If I remmber right the well was about 300 ft and I never had a problem with the water or the supply. About three or 4 months ago my water got muddy so I called them and they put a camera down my well and said I had a leak, not knowing anything about a well I let them do whatever they had to do so he drilled another approx. 150 ft so I could still use the same pump and in a few days the water cleared up and I thought I was home free. Then the water got muddy again so I called them and they told me they had just the remedy for that being they knew where the leak was, I asked , how much more that would cost and they said 2,500$ and I said ok so they came and put down a shaft with some kind of gasket or something on the end of it and poured some pellets or something in and told me that would seal the leak up as 5they had done it many times before.with success. Again the water cleared up in a week or so and they called to say they were coming down to get paid. Being the water was clear, I said fine and paid them 3 days later the water was muddy again a I mean the color of chocolate milk ! All calls to them have gone unanswered even with a threat of a lawyer My water has been muddty now for 3 or 4 months I have use my friends washer and take my showers at theyre house. What a waste of 10,000 dollars to fix NOTHING. read more
