They had a Craigslist ad for a vehicle I was interested in. The ad didn't list hours and neither did their website. I was in town so I figured I'd swing by and check it out in person. There was nothing there that suggested they were closed; the gate was open and nothing was noticeably posted on the door, so I rang the bell at the office and left a message about wanting to check out the vehicle. Walking back to my car, the guy called out through the speaker to "get off the property" and then louder, "we're closed." It's fine to not want customers on the premises after hours, but when you don't advertise your hours well and then get angry at someone who shows up wanting to purchase a car, don't be surprised if you don't get much business. Post your hours better and get a secretary to deal with interpersonal stuff because you're clearly not very savvy in that regard. read more
