I went here kind of on a whim and ended up having such a good time. It is the perfect place if you need to SAFELY get a little aggression out. You can go with friends and compete for who can hit the center spot first or the most times, or just go solo and let the axes fly. Either way, it is a blast. You can grab a beer, hang out, and just enjoy doing something different. We got a little intro lesson before starting, and the guy who gave it to us was amazing. So nice, so personable, and just a super chill guy who made the whole experience even better. The staff clearly knows what they are doing, and they take safety seriously. I never once felt nervous. They walk you through everything and set you up with clear instructions and rules to keep it all fun and safe. Honestly, it is a great idea even for a first date. I'm part of the Axe Throwing League that meets on Sunday mornings so I'm here very often. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very talented with an axe and other sharp objects they throw! They like to interact with guests and play games with them sometimes, don't be afraid to ask! They've done a really great job of making the place look great and fun. Though they don't serve food themselves, they let you bring your own or order food from outside (there are tons of restaurants nearby). They do offer snacks and have a large selection of drinks to choose from. No hard liquor (of course) but they have beer, wine, and soft drinks. Omg omg omg. I have not had this much fun in such a long time. This place is phenomenal. The crowd is decent and the atmosphere is pleasant. We came here for my nephews birthday. There were 20 of us and I can tell you that even though I didn't fling the AX I thoroughly enjoyed myself just watching everyone else. The kids had an amazing time. The music was not grotesque and the bathrooms were immaculate. The training instructor Javi was so patient and funny, and as for the rest of the crew Manny, Mad Max, and the female bartender were so kind and such a cheerful disposition they just couldn't do enough to make EVERYONE comfortable. Had drove by this spot a few times & finally got the chance to go try it out. Who doesn't want to throw axes? Booked online, showed up 15 mins before, signed the waiver, grabbed a few beers, & headed over to our throwing station. Stations are broken up into two side by side wooden targets with a chain link fence separating them for safety. Our Axe Coach, Twitch, was very friendly & helpful. He walked us through all of the safety precautions. For those who have been to gun ranges, the safety rules are quite similar. Don't retrieve your axe until both have thrown, never point an axe at anyone, & don't touch the blade. Pretty common sense stuff, but then again, if common sense were common everyone would have it. Twitch then explained the ideal throwing technique. Once we got the the hang of it, he left us to enjoy some good times! It wasn't long before we started hitting bullseye's with consistency. For those that don't do so well, there are a few stations equivalent to bumpers at bowling alleys that make the axe easier to stick to the wooden targets. This is a really cool experience, good for an adventurous date night, great for releasing some tension after a long work week or even just some fun with friends. For those not interested in axe throwing, there's also oversized Jenga & Connect Four. Air Conditioning keeps it all comfortable, there's Music, & there are two bathrooms after those beers need to find their way out. I'd recommend either a 60 or 90 min session depending on how many people you have with you or what your budget is. We also really enjoyed that it was not overly crowded. Would I go again? If you have not thrown an axe before this is a great place to start! The venue is welcoming to just hang out with a few friends. I was able to learn by the end of the night how to hit a bullseye. The owner is nice and they teach you how to throw before you start. They have things to keep kids entertained while you play. They have wooden connect 4, adult sized jenga and a plastic axe the kids can throw at a plexiglass. This made our spouses social a blast for the month of Feb. So I came here on a date night and let me tell you, what an experience! It was my first time and Erin the general manager of the establishment was so accommodating and friendly! We loved her energy truly. She even showed us a trick shot and that was pretty cool. They have beers and cool drinks behind the counter so that was a plus. If you're looking for a great activity to do in your area near home, this is the place! My boyfriend and I came here on a late Saturday afternoon with another couple friend of ours! Ricardo was our trainer and he was very nice and thorough! He took the time to make sure we had the best form in order to throw the best we can and have fun in the process! My friend booked the interactive aisle for us and I must say, INTERACTIVE is the way to go!! It was soooo much fun playing the different game options. I have previously gone axe throwing at another company a year ago and we did the normal option but this interactive option is definitely worth the experience! The only thing I will comment on for improvement is the music choice. It sounded like they were gearing it to an older crowd, not upbeat or with the times. But I know this is just my preference. Was a bit bothered coming here as their website states they allllw and take walk-ins so that's what we decided to do. Upon arrival we were told everything was fully booked that they are not accepting walk-ins. On the website however there was still 5 slots Open for 11 pm Sport target. So i went ahead and paid and booked that reservation. We walked around to kill some time till 11 but ended up back around 10 pm . At around 10:30 pm one of the staff members asked if we were ready to play and took us to the virtual gaming target. I guess they did not wait to wait till closing time if we were the last and only reservation or maybe they thought they were doing us a favor by letting us go early, not sure but either , the projected target is not what i paid for. Once i realized mid way how the virtual games didn't even work!!!! and how dark and bad the lighting was , the pictures come out awful in this area , because you have this bright projector light in your face the entire time we asked the staff member if we can move to the empty sporting target no one was using , considering it's the one we paid for anyways. He said he was going to ask and let us know. Not once did he get back to us or let us know if it would be possible to move or not. We had two people who chose not to play but we were charged for them anyway and didn't find out until the end. Had we known, they probably wouldn't have come to watch for a fee. Facility is okay. Noticed the VR game was out of order. After instruction they didn't really set us up with any games so we were kinda just throwing axes at the wall for a couple hours. POS system was down when we arrived so we had to wait about an hour to get a beer. Overall the experience was mediocre at best. read more

I came here for my mom's birthday with my family and had a really good time. It was quick and easy to book online. Once you get there, they check you in and teach you how to throw the axe one by one. It's a group lesson but they make sure each person practices with the instructor. The place is clean and has a rustic farm vibe to it. They had water bottles and some wine/beer to choose from. It was a really fun, unique, and different experience to do with a group. I'll probably be coming back with my friends. We were actually having a great time until we were denied a drink because we had already ordered, "3 in the last 15 min." So, here's what happened. My partner ordered a pineapple cider for himself and a Chardonnay for me. He didn't like the pineapple cider so he went back to the bar and ordered a Corona. When he finished it and wanted another, we were told, "we've served you three drinks in the last fifteen minutes so I can't sell you any more alcohol." I asked for how long and was told, "until I decide you are ready." Odd. My partner had had one Corona. That's it, and we were both denied more drinks. It didn't last a short time, they did this to us all evening. My partner and I are both over 50, perhaps ageism? Did they want the old folks to leave? They definitely made us feel shamed for having one drink each and requesting a second drink. Shamed is definitely not how you want to feel when you are out trying to have fun. Of course, the management claimed that they limit alcohol because people are throwing sharp objects but I've been to other axe throwing venues before and was never denied a drink. After about another 20 min my partner decided he was too insulted to have fun. We weren't acting unruly at all, we didn't show up drunk, we hadn't even had a drink prior to arriving. We weren't being loud or disruptive. Even when I was denied the second Corona for my partner, I was completely calm and didn't get upset at all. I simply paid for a bag of chips and walked away. When my partner decided we should leave long before our 90 min was up, he asked the manager for a refund and was denied the refund. I'm really blown away by this experience. We had dinner reservations timed perfectly for after axe throwing was done. But now we were an hour early for dinner and of course there were no tables. We ended up eating dinner at the bar in the restaurant and calling it a night. I personally didn't see any notices or policies posted anywhere indicating that this establishment will only serve one drink per person in the party. Even when purchasing the drinks we received, there was no discussion that those will be the only drinks we can have for the night. The response of the gentleman serving the drinks when I asked how long until we could order another drink (I was thinking there must be a policy, something like one drink per half hour per person) and his response was, "when I think you're ready," seems to indicate that this alcohol "policy" is subjective and left to the whim of the staff, rather than a transparent and equitable policy with purpose. For this reason, it really felt like we were targeted for some reason. The place is otherwise pleasant, nicely decorated and the gentleman who taught us how to throw the axes was superb. Although he was the same man who wouldn't serve us drinks. Maybe he should stick to teaching people how to throw axes. I'm just so disappointed in this experience and truly just how crappy this place made us feel that I know we can never return. I caution others strongly when considering going here for a good time because the staff may be intent on ensuring you are doing anything but having a good time. In response to the management's comment about having policies to ensure safety, so what exactly is your alcohol policy? It doesn't seem to be posted anywhere and when asking your staff when we could order another drink, the response, "when I think you are ready," indicates anything but a drinking policy. It indicates that instead of a transparent policy, that who gets to drink and how much they get to drink is entirely subjective. I would have been fine had a clear policy been posted and communicated from the beginning. read more
