I am not a traditional die cast collector and honestly I only even learned this car existed because YouTube randomly recommended a review, but the moment I saw this 1985 Lamborghini Countach in red it instantly took me back to the poster I had hanging in my bedroom as a kid and the feeling that it was the most magical car in the world, so when I discovered there was a highly detailed 1/12 scale version that I could actually afford I went on a serious hunt calling American companies, companies in France and Italy and even the manufacturer in Germany who explicitly told me they would no longer be producing the red version and that any site claiming a preorder was not being truthful, after that I turned to eBay where the only ones I could find were in Japan and with tariffs and shipping would have cost me close to $800 to get it to Los Angeles, I was super disappointed until I decided to call Awesome Diecast Models in Florida and they were absolutely incredible, not only did they actually have a brand new one in stock but it was $230 with just $18 shipping and they even took the time to confirm inventory for me before I placed the order, I checked out immediately and it arrived today in absolutely pristine condition with excellent double boxed packaging and high quality bubble wrap ensuring a flawless model, I honestly cannot thank you guys enough for bringing my childhood poster back to life as an adult and in an even more amazing form as a beautiful die cast model. read more

Saw a FB ad pop up on this location and weekend offer to visit during holiday season. Glad we made the decision to visit as a cool shop and warehouse was found that offers many diecast treats in many sizes. They also specialize in some collectibles like buses for which we do not collect, but still cool to view. The employee working was jovial and appeared to love the hobby and his job. He always answered any question and added value. He pointed out items and even tried to upsell items without any harm or demand. Couple items to share for collectors. The front on the office has the owners collection and not sold. Cool to see. They do not specialize in Hotwheels if that's your deal. They do offer many imports and brands like Innvo , Mini GT and more. Many sizes from 1:64 are offered. Pricing appeared to be full retail and you save shipping in person. They have a huge online presence and their main business. The location is clean, well lighted, and not typically open on weekends for visitors currently. If your in Boca and collect diecast and vehicle models, this is worth a visit. We will return and look forward to their online shop also. Great first impression. read more

I'm taking my review of not-so-awesome diecast down to one star again. In fact, if I can give them zero stars, I definitely would. I started to receive harassing, threatening emails from them again about my review. These people, who are extremely nasty, have absolutely zero knowledge about customer service. Here are some excerpts from their emails to me the day before I wrote this update: "You're a shameless piece of work especially in this economy to leave a review like that for any business considering the facts. Hope you feel good about yourself now. You are blocked from ever buying from us again as well as all our Facebook platforms. What goes around come around - good luck!" -and- "Couldn't care less what you think - we have thousands of other normal collectors who appreciate what we do. Good riddance - we don't need toxic people like you wasting our time. Don't bother wasting whatever brain cells you have responding - you're now blocked." Honestly, who would want to do business with these people? The problem is that they kept sending nasty email after nasty email to me. I guess it's some sort of intimidation tactic. Who cares about their Facebook group? There's so many groups out there for the same thing that they do. Also, any constructive criticism of their products or service on their Facebook group will get your comment removed or get you banned, anyway. Really, who cares? It's often a very negative group, anyway. If I was running a similar business, I would treat everyone with respect, ESPECIALLY if they are spending money with you - even if they have a legitimate issue with your product. These people don't understand that. Shameful. read more

The coolest place to go to if you're traveling and you have not seen this place! When I pulled up they had Bentley, Lamborghini's, old T model ford, parked in front. Lots of parking in the new location and the retail experience has really came to life! It's like a museum installation of all different scale models of everything you can think of and collect! Also the guys are very handsome and they have a YouTube channel along with regular updates on social media to keep you posted on all new items coming in. They manufacture their own products and they support many other companies products as well. The guys and ladies who work there have great personalities and sense of humor. Making it a five star experience to go shopping. They even have shopping carts for the high rollers and valet parking if you tip Jon enough money. He only valets Bentleys watch out though he might take it out for a spin! He has a custom private collection of Bentleys unfortunately they are scale model replicas. But still it's all worth the trip to Boca Raton to see the diecast museum and admission is free of charge if you use the code "Robyn."you will get in free! I'm only kidding there is no admission charge but it's worth the drive to see! If you're a top customer you get invited to special events they host to release new products and mingle. But you have to follow their social media to know when to come to the events. This place is great if you're a collector or thinking of becoming one! For the price of one of these cars out front you buy a few hundred thousand models at Awesome Diecast! By the way they are good investment you can resell them later for even more then you paid since most models are limited edition. read more
