I ordered my sister birthday flowers, and although she said they were beautiful, I am very disappointed in their questionable business practice. The website asked for the zip code for the delivery and I put the correct one. At 3:30 (the day of her birthday) I received a phone call and was told they would have to charge me 3X the delivery fee stated on the website!!! I ended up paying $30 for a $50 flower arrangement. What was I to do but say okay. I have been sending flowers to her for 17 years and this is the only florist that has charged me more for delivery. My friend ordered flowers for me. They delivered them to an empty home with no one home. They did not even ring the doorbell. Just left them on the front porch in the heat. I'm so glad my friend spent money for a beautiful birthday bouquet and they cared enough about that customer to ensure the flowers got to their designated place. Told them I would pick up at 11 because the event I needed them for was at 12. Got there 11:45 wasn't done yet. Thank god I didn't get there on time. Ordered deluxe version of the picture I chose and most certainly did not get that. For $90 I got 3 candles, a couple of carnations and a few other flowers. It was supposed to be a centerpiece for a huge table and it maybe can sit on a little night stand . My daughter ordered flower's for me online last week 5-11-18, for mother's day. Yes, a little late but none the less, the online order was directed to a shop that DELIVERED MY FLOWERS TO SOMEONE ELSE. In her devastation, and after a not-so nice call to them, they placed a new order and assured her it would be right this time!! Awesome Blossoms in Odessa, TX got the new order. Was due to be delivered yesterday, 5-17-18, and guess what.... A NO SHOW!!! Upon one more call to the online company, she was assured YET AGAIN, that all would be fixed, it would be a better arrangement and it would be delivered today, 5-18-18!! I get my flowers today from Awesome Blossoms and was so disappointed that I almost cried!! The yellow roses had dead spots, the only 2 lilies in the arrangement looked as if they had coffee spilled on them. I am very upset that after all the run around and then FINALLY get my flowers, they will not last but a very few days because they look to be the bottom of the barrel in the cooler when they made the arrangement. I placed a Mother's Day gift order (cost $75.00) for my daughter-in-law. The bouquet was never delivered. My son and his family waited all day for the delivery. What should have been a happy surprise ended up ruining the day. When I called this business, rather than understand how upsetting the problem was, the owner stated that she knew nothing of the order - despite the fact that I had a confirmation number for the order. The woman stated she would look into the issue and call me back. I think her motivation was solely to get off of the phone because I never received a call back. I ordered a floral spray for my mom's funeral service. I specifically stated that I wanted different shades of pink. When they arrived they were all white. The ribbon was white. Not one thing on it was pink . When I called the following day with my concern they were closed but I left a message with the after hours CSR. She said she would mark it a priority. I waited until after noon the following business day and still didn't receive a call. When I called them, the lady made an excuse that she couldn't make out the first name on my order and that's why she hadn't called me back. I asked if she could read my phone number and she said the ticket was all double typed because the paper was put in wrong and so my info was overlapping with another customers info. I guess she couldn't reprint it?!?!! I explained that this wasn't the spray I ordered and I kid you not she proceeded to argue with me for over 20 minutes!! She did not accept any responsibility for the mistake! She continued to tell me that on her end it said I ordered all white. I told her no less that 5 times that I did not order all white and had specifically ordered all different shades of pink!! I had ordered it after their normal business hours (which I explained to her how would I have known that because I called their store phone number in Odessa.) Long story short I was talking to the owner Cindy all along. She was extremely unprofessional and I will NEVER do business with this floral shop again! What a terrible experience!! Like I told her these weren't flowers for my mom's birthday where I can just get different ones next year. I paid almost $300 to get the pink heart spray I wanted for my mom & got a sub par puny white spray instead! I would highly advise anyone thinking of using them to reconsider! read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. My husband ordered a $100 flower arrangement online and received a total of eight small carnations, two small roses and a bunch of greenery. I was so upset when he told me he had spent $100 and all I received was this sad plastic container with flowers. He went online and show me his receipt and a picture of what I was supposed to have gotten. I was extremely upset and told him to call the business. They had the worst customer service ever. Jessica was the person who answered the phone and we explained our dilemma and she said that there was nothing she could do. So we asked to speak to the manager who wouldn't give us her name and she decided to hang up on us twice. When she finally decided to not hang up on us, we told the manager our problem and she said that the reason we got a $10 flower arrangement was because she ran out of flowers. She also claimed there was nothing she could do about it. I told her that I didn't buy a $10 flower arrangement but a $100 and how was it OK that she could take my $100 and not give me what I paid for. It really got me upset and decided to go in person and speak to her. When I went to her business I showed her the flower arrangement that was delivered and the picture of what we were supposed to have received. All she kept saying was that they ran out of flowers and had to substitute with what she had. And she took away my flower arrangement that by the way was in a plastic vase. When I told her that the flowers weren't even the slightest thing to what my husband had ordered online and I didn't even have a glass vase. She said, " Oh! everyone likes plastic I don't even know why you like glass." Worst customer service ever. She ruined my first Mother's Day. People are better off buying a flower arrangement from H-E-B or Walmart. This place will rip you off and tell you that you will have to deal with the party you ordered from. If I could not give a star that would be appropriate!! Ordered a heart shaped standing spray for my grandmothers funeral $180! When I got to the funeral home I was mortified! You could still see the styrofoam there were so little flowers on it and what was on the thing were half dead and wilted. I called and was not very nice demanded someone come to the funeral home and fix it or I would dispute the charge on my card and they wouldn't see a dime! Supposedly they sent someone to fix it. The next day no one ever saw them come add to it looked the same called her and she swore they came up there to add flowers. Than gave me a BS excuse that she ran out of flowers!! I disputed the charge on my card after taking photos of what I ordered and what I got and threatened to take them to small claims if they made it an issue I did get my money back and had to go buy more flowers from the grocery store to make it look decent! Second mistake I ordered online a large yellow standing spray again for another funeral from a online flower shop. I guess is a middle man and called them to do the arrangement. In the online instructions it stated yellow and white flowers NO RED! As the woman who passed hated the color red with a passion! Got to the funeral home and low and behold guess who made the arrangement and it was all RED!!! Again another angry phone call and a BS excuse that they had no yellow or white flowers. I went in today to see about ordering two corsages for a baby shower. I explained to the lady that I needed the colors to be navy and white and hopefully as simple as possible. She said that they start at $38.50 and I explained that I had been on the website and had seen corsages priced as low as $18. She gave me a bitch face and simply stared. Terrible Experience! I ordered a flower arrangement to be delivered to my wife at her office for our anniversary. The driver ruined the surprise by calling my wife.... THE DAY BEFORE the scheduled delivery date to "get directions". Why the driver did not reach out to me first is beyond comprehension. My wife, knowing that this was supposed to be a surprise, assumed that the driver meant she was on her way with the delivery. So, she did not go to lunch because she did not want to miss the driver. When the flowers did not show up by the end of the day, she called and told me what had happened (I was livid). I told her, no... they are supposed to be delivered tomorrow... surprise. When I called Awesome Blossoms to find out why they did that instead of contacting me first, the woman I spoke with adamantly denied that they ever called my wife (that's right! She called my wife a liar). Do yourself a favor and avoid this business. Based on my experience and the other reviews here on Yelp, they clearly don't deserve your business. Wish I had checked Yelp first. BTW... I've never had a bad experience with Mark Knox Flowers. Should have stuck with them. read more
