This massage parlor is fantastic. I went in sore and with nots in my back. I got the 2hr combination massage with Posh and he absolutely was fantastic. The stretching and perfect strength show overall experience and quality. The cherry on top was the essential oils. So soothing. Thank you. Will definitely return. read more

This place was the worst experience I've ever received. My wife and me bought a Group On Experience of Swedish or Combo with Hot Stones and aromatherapy here and when we arrived, the front person asked us what we wanted and we clearly said Hot Stones and Aromatherapy. 2 people arrived and went straight for only Swedish massage. First they arrived talking and talked for about 10 minutes. Then the guy was way too rough and clearly noticed my pain but continued even when I said it hurts. They went for one straight hour and we never received our Hot Stone nor Aromatherapy. Upon asking them, they spoke in their language to each other and came out with the answer and said it wasn't part of the Group On when it clearly was. When going to the front the first thing they asked for was for tip and didn't even bother acknowledging that they lied to us. I asked the front desk guy again and all he said was he didn't know what happened. All they were worried about was their tip. This place was a complete robbery and truly unacceptable read more

Awe Spa Wellness - It says Swedish or Combination with Hot Stones and the people said it didn't include it and we didn't receive it. - Massage Therapy Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I really appreciated the service here. I was gifted a Groupon and making an appt was easy. I called and they were able to accommodate my time and date, even when I had to call back to say I was running late and needed to push it to a later time back one hour. I got a deep tissue massage. My masseuse Nancy asked which area I wanted her to focus on-- and she actually followed through with it! She worked her magic elbows on my knots. I've been to places where they don't follow through on that request and just give you a full body massage, only go over the requested area once or twice. She actually came back to the same spot at least 3 times. She also massaged different areas that I didn't know I was tight in until I felt it. The parking situation here is pretty nice compared to other LA areas. There is actually a very small lot in the back where you can park and of course the lot can fill up, but luckily the time that I went, there were two spots open. If it is full, you'll have to find street parking. read more

I found Awe Spa through Groupon. This is truly a hidden LA gem! I felt safe in this neighborhood & the service was amazing. 60 minute combo massage with oil, aromatherapy, hot stones, and stretching. They also have snacks and water/tea. Definitely would come again :) (78/100) read more

I was disappointed that the massage was not good. The lady was just applying lotion and just rubbing it instead of doing the massage. I kept telling her how I wanted it and she's not listening. Oh well, I guess you can't expect anyone to be good. Wish them the best of luck. read more

My boyfriend and I found this place on groupon and the reviews don't do it justice! Their customer service was exemplary from the start of the experience. We arrived at the time of our scheduled appointment, but they were running a little behind, so the lady at the front desk offered us a free foot soak & complimentary tea and cookies to make up for it! Nancy and Posh were our masseuses' and they took really great care of us! They asked us if we wanted to focus on a specific area, and they would check in often enough to make sure the pressure level was just right. Their customer service was beyond amazing and we'll definitely be back soon! read more

Really good massage. The place is OK but definitely very dated old building. Funky layout. The massage was good although when asked about pressure, I said hard pressure; she said it would be another $10. I'm not a big fan of being up sold. So I agreed to just the massage I had paid for. I honestly would not pay $100 for a 60 minute massage at a place that looks like this. It had more of the feel of those places you go in for a foot massage in a room with other people and you get a full body massage although not in private. And those are $15-$30 an hour. Overall, good massage, very funky building. read more

This was absolutely the worst massage I've ever had in my entire life. I walked in and immediately the place is just really not well kept, but besides that. The massage itself was awful. Literally just felt like the girl was putting cream and lotion all over me, barely even massaging it in. The tables, and towels were both really uncomfortable and not nice. After a while I was so clearly not relaxed and the masseuse told me "relax okay" instead of asking me if I was okay. The technique was awful going from literally no pressure at all, to intense pressure that felt rushed and painful. The whole thing felt incredibly rushed and careless. Would never go here again read more

Very nice staff, and pretty good value if booked through Groupon. My biggest gripe is that my massage included oil and after the massage I was never wiped down or even given a towel to clean off the oil. I was a mess leaving their facility and the oil got all over my car. read more

Went in for a couples massage. Super last minute, we called in to see if they would take us and were received by a very professional and kind receptionist! We got to choose between CBD oil or aromatherapy. We both got CBD and hot stones with a combo massage. I requested a male bc my back is rock solid and very difficult to work on. I got Posh as a massage therapist. He gave me hands down the BEST MASSAGE of my life! I couldn't wait to tell my partner and she had the exact same thing to say about her massage therapist, Nancy! They asked us where we would like them to focus on and actually listened. I am a ER nurse, just finished 3 shifts in a row and I had knots all over my back. Posh worked them out sooooo good without it being overly painful. And then he got to my legs and I was in bliss! THANK YOU POSH AND NANCY!!! read more

Amazing massages! Great environment: clean, peaceful, and easy to navigate. Parking in the back. I came here the first time from a gift card someone gave me, and I've been back two times since. And I live in the valley! Awe Spa is worth traveling for. read more

Perfect place when you simply want a great massage without all the frills. Staff was great, friendly and polite and the massage was excellent. My masseuse paid attention to my concerns and what I wanted him to focus on and did a great job. It was also so easy to book same day appointment - parking could be challenging during peak hours & is mostly all metered parking so give yourself enough time. read more

Incredible. Easily the best massage I have ever received. I had a 4 hands combination massage that featured hot stone treatment as well as some elements of Thai massage (stretching incorporated). A thousand times recommended; I came after a bad flight and a migraine and my body feels so relieved. Additionally the inside is so cozy and cute, the staff are very friendly, and they offer you hot tea and to stay and relax as long as you like. read more

Brenda was amazing! Ask if I need anywhere specific and she went to town on my back. Would for sure go back to her

Amazing massages at great prices! I got a couples massage recently and we both had an amazing experience. Our masseuses were both perfect for what we each needed, great ambiance in the room and overall space! We felt very relaxed and taken care of! Highly recommend read more

I have been going to Awe spa for years and they are always extremely nice, ask a lot of questions prior to your massage, and it's always a calming and serene environment. I've had a number of excellent massages from different people and they are always great. I usually do the 'combo' massage which incorporates swedish and thai massage together. THey always have cold water, tea and little cookies and fruit and a lovely pre/post massage 'chillout' area with some nice big comfy chairs. Highly recommend! read more

Great price for amazing massages! I've been going to Awe Spa for massages for about 3 years now. I go every few months when I can afford it. The masseuses really care and try to get every knot out. I normally am able to save a few dollars by purchasing from Groupon. The first time I went the massage felt too hard (that was my first massage ever so I didn't really know anything), but next time I new to ask for a bit softer. Every time I leave I feel so pampered and feel balanced. And, I love the oil options that they have! read more

I've been coming to this salon for almost a year now-definitely more than ten times-and from the very first visit, I was impressed. As soon as you walk through the door, you're warmly greeted by a lovely woman with a friendly smile that instantly puts you at ease. The ambiance and interior are just like the authentic spas in Thailand-- stepping into Awe Spa Wellness truly feels like being transported to the vibrant streets of Pattaya, lined with dozens of massage parlors. The massage techniques are simply unforgettable -Swedish, Thai, deep tissue, hot stones-you'll find it all here. I especially want to highlight Jay, one of the massage therapists. He's an incredible professional. After a session with him, you feel completely renewed-like you've been reborn. He melts away any stress, works through every muscle, and helps reset your entire system. I could say so much more about this place, but instead, don't waste any time-just book your appointment now! You won't regret it. Thank you all, and see you again very soon! (Mike) read more

Another great massage at Awe spa! I had Brenda who really helped my back and neck tightness. A true neighborhood hidden gem.

Affordable massage spa in Larchmont Village! 4-1/2 stars! I have regular shoulder pain from too much tension, so I've been to many many massage therapists and spas. After a night of poor sleep, I decided to go to Awe Spa for a 60-minute Swedish massage. I was very happy with this choice! The staff is very friendly and the interior is cute. There are plenty of snacks, tea, and magazines to keep you occupied if you arrive early. What could elevate the experience are heated massage tables and aroma therapy, but you can't really complain with the prices. Even the most basic massage package was well worth the very affordable price point. The Swedish massage felt more like a combo with some light Thai stretching and Chinese reflexology. Definitely give Awe Spa a try! They also advertise couples massages. read more

I recently had a 60-minute Thai combo massage with Lynn, and it was absolutely incredible! Her technique was methodical and evenly paced, using just the right amount of pressure. The rhythmic nature of her movements felt like ocean waves washing over me, and I almost fell asleep twice! Lynn's attention to detail was amazing, getting into every nook and cranny. The stretches she incorporated were just right--not too intense but definitely effective. I've had plenty of massages, including Thai ones, but Lynn is the first therapist who asked for permission before stepping on me and putting her fingers on my face. That level of respect and communication really stood out to me. From the moment I arrived, Lynn was super welcoming and friendly, making me feel comfortable right away. Her professional and caring demeanor made the experience even better. I would definitely come back to see her again and again! The atmosphere is very calm. I was greeted at the door with a welcoming smile and did not have to wait at all to start treatment. There were light refreshments waiting afterwards as well. read more

I just got a massage here and it was amazing! Perfectly what I needed after some stressful weeks at work and after a weekend of skiing. I booked a Trifecta Massage for 60 minutes and ended up extending another 30 min. I'm glad they were able to accommodate me! They asked me what areas I'd like to focus on and spent most of the time on those areas (my upper back, shoulder and neck) but also touched on all parts of the body so it was still a balanced and full massage. Most other places I feel just go through "a routine" and I never get enough of what I really need - working out those knots on my shoulders. Or sometimes there is a language barrier and the lack of effective communication is frustrating. But my massage therapist did great work. He was responsive when I said pressure was too hard or too soft. The place is no frills, w some cute and quirky decor. Massage price is affordable, especially given this economy! Def support this local business :) I plan on coming back! read more

My go to spot for a great massage! Lovely ambiance, they really pay attention to what you need. The prices are great as well.

Floyd is the best and most professional masseuse in town, try him. I highly recommend this place.

My friend and I got the Groupon--the 60 minutes with aromatherapy. I picked lavender and my friend picked Eucalyptus. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage and I felt so relaxed after. We walked in and we were showed into the waiting area which had biscuits and tea waiting for us. Then, we were escorted to the room for two. They did not waste any time, which I liked. Patrick massaged my full body and it felt amazing. I really needed the massage. After, they asked us if we wanted water or hot tea. It was a pleasant experience! read more

Customer service is not good because the girl hung up on me and didnt even other to call me back.

This is my second time here- have to admit I wasn't the biggest fan my first time, but I liked it a lot better this round! I got the deep tissue massage and although she didn't get every kink out, it definitely felt nice being able to just walk in randomly. It does smell a lot like cigarettes at the front room which isnt the nicest, but still a pretty good Thai massage. read more

I just had an amazing 90-minute Trifecta Massage after a stressful few weeks and a weekend of skiing. They asked about my focus areas and spent ample time on my upper back, shoulders, and neck while also covering the rest of my body for balance. Unlike other places that follow a routine, this massage really targeted my knots. My therapist, Sunny, was excellent--he adjusted the pressure based on my feedback. The environment is simple with quirky decor, and the prices are affordable for this economy. I highly recommend supporting this local business and plan to return! read more

Loved my experience. I got the one hour Swedish massage and it was exactly what I was looking for. I would say decor is pretty straightforward, nothing special, but nothing that took away from the experience. Basically did a walk-in and there was no wait! read more

My friend and I came for a massage. The massage was PHENOMENAL. I did the Trifecta an I enjoyed it very much. Pressure was good and they do ask how is the pressure? The peppermint oil and tiger balm on my back was spectacular. I believe my therapist name was Bella. The original receptionist was super kind. HOWEVER, I guess they switched to the receptionist who was also a therapist and she did not realllllly want to tell me my therapist name. And then I gave 20% tip but they looked at me as if that weren't enough and then I mentioned I wanted to know my therapist name for the future. She told me well she might be booked since she has her own clients. Ehhh, that was weird. I guess they were expecting a bigger tip. And they didn't have soap nor paper towel in the bathroom which made my friend weary. They replaced the soap but still no paper towel. They claimed that employees have their own bathroom and claim that they are washing their hands. But who knows? Good massage experience, nonetheless and it is a cute spa. read more

Awe Spa has a focus of time massage a.k.a. walking on your back. The lady that worked on me was very skilled and I want to do tissue work. Typically this technique is too fast and too deep. But I believe they have tempered it so it is enjoyable. You can't beat the price- it just depends on what you want read more

I'm a petite woman who wears sweaters most of the time, especially when it was 60 deg on Saturday, April 1 around 9 AM (our appointment was at 10 AM). That said, I checked into this facility wearing a button-down black cashmere sweater with 2 pockets and hung it on a hook out in the open since they didn't have a locker.  When my massage was over, my sweater was nowhere to be found.  My girlfriend thought maybe the masseur grabbed it by accident, so I reported my missing sweater to the masseur and the front desk, hoping they would be able to help.  Because they did not know where / who took my sweater, I decided to follow up the next day with hopes that maybe they found it. I spoke to the same front desk girl, asked if there was a security camera in the lobby, and requested that someone review the tape.  Of course, there were some technical issues and they said it was not possible to see the recording.  I then asked if I could speak to the owner.  The owner returned my calls and told me that her crew searched for my sweater but to no avail.  She was busy talking around in circles and what made it worse was that one of the masseurs said that I walked into the facility wearing something different!!  Long story short, my sweater disappeared into thin air.  I knew that they are not responsible for my belongings.  I will chalk this mishap as a lesson learned and am writing this review to warn people not to bring any valuables to this place.   Of course, the masseurs were great and my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. read more

My boyfriend and I came here for a couples massage and it was heavenly!! Not sure if they were expecting two men when I booked a couples massage but they were 100% professional when we arrived. We both got the Awesome Trifecta and both masseurs (Moon and Narussame) did a fantastic job. They seemed to be doing different things on us (from what I could hear), but afterwards when we chatted we both definitely got the same treatment, just maybe in a different order. The hot tea afterwards hit perfectly too. Would definitely return!! read more

Little hidden gem up north going to Melrose from the Larchmont strip. Parking in the back of the facility. Service is nice. Had a couples reservations for a Thai massage. For a second I felt stiff but she broke that and now feel like I'm 18 again! The place it's a decent size with various rooms.
