This place was the worst experience I've ever received. My wife and me bought a Group On Experience of Swedish or Combo with Hot Stones and aromatherapy here and when we arrived, the front person asked us what we wanted and we clearly said Hot Stones and Aromatherapy. 2 people arrived and went straight for only Swedish massage. First they arrived talking and talked for about 10 minutes. Then the guy was way too rough and clearly noticed my pain but continued even when I said it hurts. They went for one straight hour and we never received our Hot Stone nor Aromatherapy. Upon asking them, they spoke in their language to each other and came out with the answer and said it wasn't part of the Group On when it clearly was. When going to the front the first thing they asked for was for tip and didn't even bother acknowledging that they lied to us. I really appreciated the service here. I was gifted a Groupon and making an appt was easy. I called and they were able to accommodate my time and date, even when I had to call back to say I was running late and needed to push it to a later time back one hour. I got a deep tissue massage. My masseuse Nancy asked which area I wanted her to focus on-- and she actually followed through with it! She worked her magic elbows on my knots. I've been to places where they don't follow through on that request and just give you a full body massage, only go over the requested area once or twice. She actually came back to the same spot at least 3 times. She also massaged different areas that I didn't know I was tight in until I felt it. The parking situation here is pretty nice compared to other LA areas. There is actually a very small lot in the back where you can park and of course the lot can fill up, but luckily the time that I went, there were two spots open. If it is full, you'll have to find street parking. read more

My boyfriend and I found this place on groupon and the reviews don't do it justice! Their customer service was exemplary from the start of the experience. We arrived at the time of our scheduled appointment, but they were running a little behind, so the lady at the front desk offered us a free foot soak & complimentary tea and cookies to make up for it! Nancy and Posh were our masseuses' and they took really great care of us! They asked us if we wanted to focus on a specific area, and they would check in often enough to make sure the pressure level was just right. This was absolutely the worst massage I've ever had in my entire life. I walked in and immediately the place is just really not well kept, but besides that. The massage itself was awful. Literally just felt like the girl was putting cream and lotion all over me, barely even massaging it in. The tables, and towels were both really uncomfortable and not nice. After a while I was so clearly not relaxed and the masseuse told me "relax okay" instead of asking me if I was okay. The technique was awful going from literally no pressure at all, to intense pressure that felt rushed and painful. The whole thing felt incredibly rushed and careless. The massage was good although when asked about pressure, I said hard pressure; she said it would be another $10. I'm not a big fan of being up sold. So I agreed to just the massage I had paid for. I honestly would not pay $100 for a 60 minute massage at a place that looks like this. It had more of the feel of those places you go in for a foot massage in a room with other people and you get a full body massage although not in private. And those are $15-$30 an hour. Went in for a couples massage. Super last minute, we called in to see if they would take us and were received by a very professional and kind receptionist! We got to choose between CBD oil or aromatherapy. We both got CBD and hot stones with a combo massage. I requested a male bc my back is rock solid and very difficult to work on. I got Posh as a massage therapist. He gave me hands down the BEST MASSAGE of my life! I couldn't wait to tell my partner and she had the exact same thing to say about her massage therapist, Nancy! They asked us where we would like them to focus on and actually listened. I am a ER nurse, just finished 3 shifts in a row and I had knots all over my back. I have been going to Awe spa for years and they are always extremely nice, ask a lot of questions prior to your massage, and it's always a calming and serene environment. I've had a number of excellent massages from different people and they are always great. I usually do the 'combo' massage which incorporates swedish and thai massage together. THey always have cold water, tea and little cookies and fruit and a lovely pre/post massage 'chillout' area with some nice big comfy chairs. Highly recommend! read more

Great price for amazing massages! I've been going to Awe Spa for massages for about 3 years now. I go every few months when I can afford it. The masseuses really care and try to get every knot out. I normally am able to save a few dollars by purchasing from Groupon. The first time I went the massage felt too hard (that was my first massage ever so I didn't really know anything), but next time I new to ask for a bit softer. Affordable massage spa in Larchmont Village! 4-1/2 stars! I have regular shoulder pain from too much tension, so I've been to many many massage therapists and spas. After a night of poor sleep, I decided to go to Awe Spa for a 60-minute Swedish massage. I was very happy with this choice! The staff is very friendly and the interior is cute. There are plenty of snacks, tea, and magazines to keep you occupied if you arrive early. What could elevate the experience are heated massage tables and aroma therapy, but you can't really complain with the prices. Even the most basic massage package was well worth the very affordable price point. The Swedish massage felt more like a combo with some light Thai stretching and Chinese reflexology. I just got a massage here and it was amazing! Perfectly what I needed after some stressful weeks at work and after a weekend of skiing. I booked a Trifecta Massage for 60 minutes and ended up extending another 30 min. I'm glad they were able to accommodate me! They asked me what areas I'd like to focus on and spent most of the time on those areas (my upper back, shoulder and neck) but also touched on all parts of the body so it was still a balanced and full massage. Most other places I feel just go through "a routine" and I never get enough of what I really need - working out those knots on my shoulders. Or sometimes there is a language barrier and the lack of effective communication is frustrating. But my massage therapist did great work. He was responsive when I said pressure was too hard or too soft. The place is no frills, w some cute and quirky decor. Massage price is affordable, especially given this economy! I'm a petite woman who wears sweaters most of the time, especially when it was 60 deg on Saturday, April 1 around 9 AM (our appointment was at 10 AM). That said, I checked into this facility wearing a button-down black cashmere sweater with 2 pockets and hung it on a hook out in the open since they didn't have a locker.  When my massage was over, my sweater was nowhere to be found.  My girlfriend thought maybe the masseur grabbed it by accident, so I reported my missing sweater to the masseur and the front desk, hoping they would be able to help.  Because they did not know where / who took my sweater, I decided to follow up the next day with hopes that maybe they found it. I spoke to the same front desk girl, asked if there was a security camera in the lobby, and requested that someone review the tape.  Of course, there were some technical issues and they said it was not possible to see the recording.  I then asked if I could speak to the owner.  The owner returned my calls and told me that her crew searched for my sweater but to no avail.  She was busy talking around in circles and what made it worse was that one of the masseurs said that I walked into the facility wearing something different!!  Long story short, my sweater disappeared into thin air.  I knew that they are not responsible for my belongings.  I will chalk this mishap as a lesson learned and am writing this review to warn people not to bring any valuables to this place.   Of course, the masseurs were great and my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. read more

My friend and I came for a massage. The massage was PHENOMENAL. I did the Trifecta an I enjoyed it very much. Pressure was good and they do ask how is the pressure? The peppermint oil and tiger balm on my back was spectacular. I believe my therapist name was Bella. The original receptionist was super kind. HOWEVER, I guess they switched to the receptionist who was also a therapist and she did not realllllly want to tell me my therapist name. And then I gave 20% tip but they looked at me as if that weren't enough and then I mentioned I wanted to know my therapist name for the future. She told me well she might be booked since she has her own clients. Ehhh, that was weird. I guess they were expecting a bigger tip. And they didn't have soap nor paper towel in the bathroom which made my friend weary. They replaced the soap but still no paper towel. They claimed that employees have their own bathroom and claim that they are washing their hands. But who knows? Good massage experience, nonetheless and it is a cute spa. read more

Little hidden gem up north going to Melrose from the Larchmont strip. Parking in the back of the facility. Service is nice. Had a couples reservations for a Thai massage. Bella Bella you tiny assassin. I explained all the damage on me and oohh boy she got in there. I swear I left tears on that table quiet tears but tears . For a second I felt stiff but she broke that and now feel like I'm 18 again! The place it's a decent size with various rooms. You are completely irresponsible for giving people massages while you were clearly sick spreading your germs. My mom passed away from Covid-19 because of irresponsible unethical people like you.
