We have been taking our dogs to Debby…read morefor grooming for about 20 years, and I know many, many people who have been very happy with her work as well. I have always had long haired dogs and in my experience, most people don't know how to properly groom them (I learned this the hard way when my dog wound up with a mullet). Debby has been breeding and showing lhasa apsos for decades, so her years of experience really show in the quality of her work. She has gone above and beyond for me more times than I can count, from trying to teach me how to groom my own dog (who stubbornly refuses to let anybody touch him) to calling me the moment my skittish dog is finished. I recently adopted a new puppy, and she scheduled a day for me to bring him by when she could spend time playing with him and giving him treats in order to get him accustomed to being groomed. She is a dog lover through and through, and she makes my dogs look like movie stars and smell like flowers.

Piper is usually shy but after a few minutes talking with the owners she was really comfortable, as was I. Professional and very polite. They even suggested trying a new cut for her tail, I thought about and thought why not. I am so happy I did, WOW! I have been to a few groomers up here but I have found "The One". I have already booked Piper in through the rest of the year. I am getting another standard poodle and was told how they introduce puppies to make them comfortable with them. Sounds great, I would have never thought of it, they really care.

TLDR: We have a nervous pup, but the amazing staff make him feel comfortable and we love it here…read more For my Wife and I, it's always been difficult to find a place that we feel comfortable coming to repeatedly for our dogs. Like, in terms of toys and treats, most pet places are fine and great, but in terms of self-grooming or baths, it's always a toss up it feels like. But Dogma was immediately welcoming and amazing. Our dog is a rescue and a little reactive, but the staff always know how to calm him and are patient and understanding. We feel a little bad about the fur (he's a husky/Akita mix) and always attempt to clean up our own mess, but every time we're stopped by the staff. Not in a "no, don't do that" sort of way, but always in a "oh, you guys already did all of that work bathing him. It's our turn now" sort of way. Every time they're always so amazing and you can tell they actually care. We've been coming to Dogma ever since and our scared little boy has never been so calm during a bath. 10/10
