    To start I'd like to say we've done business with them for more than five years and never missed a…read morepayment or had a problem. I'm talking we've gotten washers, driers, sleeper sectionals(which they delivered two different halves and put them together, we had to call them back because we realized it wasn't just the light, it really was two different colors), a dresser, a dining set, and more. Until the last two items we bought. One was being ordered for us, so it was more of a wait. One item was on the showroom floor and was able to be delivered the next week. As the delivery boys were coming into the house the second time, after looking at the spot the dresser was being placed, one of them was actively saying bad things about our house. Such as describing it as a "dirty ass house. And they want us to take something into the basement past piles of shit". 1. Our house is not a "dirty ass house", it's cleaned daily and we have air purifiers on both levels. 2. Neither of these men, nor anyone that works for Hard Hat has ever gone into my basement. They have no way of knowing if there are "piles of shit" down there or if the floors are so clean that you could eat off of them. If there was a problem with where we wanted it delivered to it should have been told to us when we purchased the item AND DELIVERY. 3. We paid for delivery and were told that everything was fine and paid. Him cussing about us and our house while walking in, with me right there to hear, was the first we knew that something was up. He was caught on two different cameras walking into my front door saying this. It goes without saying that we canceled the order that we were waiting on. Tonight we're talking to our oldest, whose room they took the dresser to and were left alone it to set it up for a short time. She said "I've been looking for the $10 from my room, but it's been missing since the dresser got put in. I can't find it anywhere." Huh. The funny thing is, we also got the guy on camera complaining about tips. It's just $10, but it was from a little girl's play kitchen and she was saving it. If he took the $10, I hope he enjoyed that $10 and you enjoyed the loss of over $1,000 when we canceled our order. What is the point of buying local if you're going to be treated like crap for being a loyal client that always pays their bill?
