Classic American ice cream parlor with creative and amazing flavors for everyone to choose from!!…read more Every time I'm back home in South Florida, I always make it a must to stop by here for a sweet treat. I've had their ice cream sundaes in the past and they're delicious! They even offer ice cream by the scoops (cup or cone), milkshakes/malts, ice cream sodas, and freezes. We stopped by last week after craving a sweet treat on a hot and sunny day. Our son has been into cookies and cream milkshakes lately so we decided to get two milkshakes. What I really like about this place is that they have a take out window for quick and on the go orders. I've dined in a few times in the past which the restaurant is so nostalgic with all the decor. The staff are friendly and efficient. We didn't wait long for our milkshakes. Our son absolutely loved his Oreo cookie milkshake. I have to admit that I've never tried their savory dishes but it definitely gives us a good reason to come back the next time we visit. We will be back!

But I have seen longer lines. We ordered a shake. They have the choose to get regular thick or extra thick. It felt a while waiting for ice cream! I guess it's my preference we purchase the regular chocolate shake and I found it way to thick for my liking. Like I said we took it to go . Still when I arrived home the shake was to thick I had to eat with a spoon. I did walk inside to look inside the restaurant. It has a cute little old school shop vibe. The wall decor has different cool license plates. I did see some people having some huge shareable ice creams that looked good. Maybe I did not choose the right ice cream or needed the whole dinning in experience. Besides ice cream I saw they serve some finger foods. I may or may not return... maybe if I do the inside dinning and enjoy a massive sundae!

Keep an eye out for the charming blue-and-white stand topped with American flags, set back from the road, it's easy to miss, but worth seeking out. The Siciliano family has been serving the Miami community for decades. In October 1961, Louis Siciliano opened a sub shop at 711 NW 119th Street in Miami. Although the original location has since closed, the family legacy continues with Siciliano's Frozen Custard and the neighboring Sub Center and Siciliano's Subs, all operated by members of the Siciliano family. Don Drybread, Louis Siciliano's great-grandson, originally opened the custard stand as Uncle Tony's Frozen Custard before renaming it Siciliano's in honor of his mother's side of the family. Siciliano's specializes in frozen custard, which differs from traditional ice cream by containing egg yolks and being churned with less air. The result is a denser, richer, silkier dessert with a smooth texture. It's also served at a slightly warmer temperature than ice cream, allowing you to savor its rich flavor. The custard is made fresh throughout the day, ensuring the perfect consistency every time. Custard is offered in the classic flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and a twist of both, available in cups or cones with your choice of nuts, candy, fruit, or sauce toppings. The menu also features sundaes, sorbet, milkshakes, and their signature thick Hurricanes. For something a little different, Carolyn's Creations transforms the custard into treats like cannolis, dessert tacos, and ice cream sandwiches. I ordered a medium vanilla custard topped with butterscotch and it was so satisfying. The rich, creamy custard made the perfect treat on a hot summer day. There isn't any indoor seating, but there are picnic tables next to the Sub Center, which is great spot to savor your sub or custard.

One of my kids wanted just cookies and brownies. The other wanted an ice cream cone, and yep. You guessed it, I wanted an ice cream sandwich. Like most ice cream shops, they allow you to sample the ice cream. I got a Brown Sugar Ice Cream Sandwich, rolled in almonds, with chocolate chip cookies. It was messy, but really good. For extra measure, I had them warm the cookies. The cookies are gourmet cookies and are really good by themselves, as one of my littles could attest. They have a small dining area with a few tables for you to enjoy your treats. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. My kids and I really enjoyed our treats here, and I highly recommend checking this place out.

Some servers are insanely nice, others are the opposite. They have beautiful decor and plenty of seating, though this place is often PACKED. They also keep the AC super cool, so beware if you run cold! I really enjoy this spot. I only wish their prices are not as steep as they are and that they offered smaller portions. Their regular size, which is their equivalent of a small, is still gigantic! And I have a sweet tooth! Regardless 10/10
