So I hired them to do my event, which was the biggest event I have done in my life.
WHAT A MISTAKE.
They were supposed to design and install a back wall with projections which will work along with the music and lights and supposed to be amazing.
When i got the quote well before the event I decided "no way"
No way, will I spend that much on a back wall.
But both my event planner and Avial, convinced me that it will be magical and amazing.
My gut still said no, and I told them No, I do not do not want to spend that much for a wall, on an event for a few hours, NO.
But again, they are very good sales man, and told me that my event will be so much better, and blah blah blah....... After all that pressure ( " you need to do it, it will be amazing, all without it your event will not stand out......)
With every hesitation in my body, i agreed
I must say that it gave me lot of anxiety, and I did not sleep well for weeks, knowing the price.
Which they very very much knew.
The only thing that got me through this, is the promise that it really will be magical.
The wall will be a moving projection, which is supposed to work with the music to provide lighting and a really amazing effect.
And knowing i will never throw an event like this again, I really wanted the to give my kids a masigal event ( the event was in their honor)
I really wanted them to have a beautiful childhood memory, and a magical night.
About 3 days before my event, with one million things racing through my head, Avial called saying that he needs a day to set up before the day of, I and he know it will cost a fortune to do so since It will be at a hotel and the charge through the roof, but he insisted, that he needed that extra day of set up, that it is simply impossible to do so with out it. .
I started to cry, the cost was already crazy. MY anxiety was already costing me three weeks of broken sleep.
But I agreed, I really wanted it to be amazing.
This was all something that Avial was supposed to look into well before, and include all this in the original quote, it is not kind to do this to a person 3 day before.
On the day of the event, I received another email from the hotel asking for more money because the of the back wall needing more amp and that need to be brought in.
So all in all the cost of this back wall was even a few thousand dollars more then the original amount that was already so out of hand.
As I arrived at my event, the wall was a fck joke the whole night.
Did not provide any any effect at all, it was so nothing.
And misspelled my child name the whole night ( which was humiliating), towards the end of the night it projections that was projecting on the wall went crazy as if it was on over drive.
After the event I expressed all this to him through the event planner only to not hear a word back after two attempts.
What a horrible mistake to hire them.
