I would suggest not parking at the James F. Conahan Intermodal Transportation Center as the entrance is confusing, getting out is a mess, and the unmanned attendants booth after a late show causes issues. Kirby Center has an older, classy theater look. Security at the entrance was your average wand check and didn't disrupt the experience. They have some basic concessions and serve alcohol. The Kirby Center is two levels, and if you are going to a movie showing, get lower level seats. When sitting in the mezzanine, the screen is too small and too far away as they don't use a theater style projector. If you are a bigger person, seats are an older style plastic with almost no give or legroom. The cupholders are very poorly placed. Even with these problems, attending an event at the Kirby Center is worth it because they get very audience specific shows. Get there early, find a good parking garage, and enjoy a show. Post Event: An unexpected surprise occurred a few weeks after the show...Sundance Vacations began calling me. F. M. Kirby Center apparently gave them my information without consent. Three calls from them later, and one prior to 9AM, I finally got off their list.

TERRIBLE place to see rock shows. I'm not 95yo I want to stand, clap, cheer...not sit silently during a show like I'm catatonic. The Opera house in Wilkes Barre was absolutely beautiful with friendly staff and reasonable prices. It sucked that everyone HAD to sit the whole time. Not a very good rock vibe at all just sitting watching. Every time anyone stood up to get a drink or go to the bathroom it ruined your view because we were made to sit. Devour the day was great. Sleep Theory was absolutely AMAZING! They were the real stars of the show. The crowd went absolutely amazing for them! The sound and vocals were just as good as on the radio and YouTube. Daughtry was just okay. So many people got up and left when Sleep Theory went off stage. More people got up and left waiting for Daughtry to set up and take stage. After the 2nd Daughtry song even more people left obstructing our view of the stage even more because we were seated like we were watching a band in a retirement home. We left after 4 songs because our view was so obstructed by so many other people leaving. We gave up. I'd go back yo watch an opera or a play, but NEVER for a rock show again.

There are other studios, but none that offers the balance of challenging dance, and learning to tell a story through dance. They focus on performance, not competition. My favorite is the spring ballet, which is a full length ballet performed by the entire studio, from 4 years old to adult. They have a wide breadth of courses, for kids and adults. All styles and skill levels. They also have some acting, singing and music teachers for whatever you might like to learn. They offer 8 week sessions for very little money, and also do bring a friend classes a couple times a year. I highly recommend them.
