He has refused to pay numerous vendors. He was sued and lost a $1million judgement to a previous employee for firing him to avoid paying him his agreed-upon amount. Dr. Smisson's personal life is in shambles, so I would strongly suggest not using him for spine surgery. He sends his son Benji (also a doctor) out to train companies on their implants ad then refuses to pay vendors for hard work selling those products.
