    I don't know why KAYAK offered this one on the website . They did the worst service i have ever got , i came here and pick up the car i have ordered on the KAYAK site and the old man not friendly and he didn't give me the reason why the bill have a lot of extra fee, i just wonder some thing about the amount and some words on the paper but he didn't give me an explain and the reason why they come out like that. He asked me about insurance and i told him that i paid for that on the site already and he told me what ever happen just talk to the site because i didn't buy insurance from him with not friendly face . When he took me out to look over and pick up the car he didn't show me the break and the damage , the car doesn't have the mats and he told me any dirty i will be charged extra money as the way not friendly at all. I'm not recommend this business to anyone because his attitudes so bad and the way he do business i can't accept

    Is this a safe tire, Budget?

    This Budget location threatened my and my family's life by renting us an unsafe vehicle - both rear tires worn down to the steel belt. We had a flat tire emergency and had to drive on the spare with the other tire. Lost a day of vacation. Could have lost our lives. Roadside assistance and customer service were useless, trying to get us to pay for a tow. After weeks of dealing with Budget customer service and no full refund (a few hundred bucks to a $3 billion company), I will NEVER rent from Budget, Avis or any affiliate again!

    This wasn't full enough for SUSANA- it needed a "few more gallons" of gas.

    I recently returned a car I rented to this location. Their customer service was unacceptable, specifically SUSANA, and Alfredo. Susana for being unreasonable ( the tank was full at the F line and she wanted more gas so the the indicator would be above the F line -the tank could not hold more) and was going to charge me for more gas or sent me away to get "a couple more gallons of gas". ( I told her I just topped off the gas until the gas stopped. She asked for the the receipt. ) Alfredo charged an additional $234.00 to my credit card without explanation after I told him how upset I was for going back to the gas station for more gas (0.26 of ONE GALLON). There's plenty of car rental companies. Try another one. Save yourself the trouble.

Charlie Wilson and Brianna Penaflor are the best rental manager duo I have worked with. We needed a month long rental for personal travel (a longstanding anniversary trip) and running errands (that included important medical appointments) all while we were in the process of trying to purchase a new car! Charlie and Brianna provided us with a wonderful vehicle at a very good price/value point. Superior service from start to finish -- plus the same after we had returned the vehicle. Upon returning the vehicle at the end of a very busy Friday, Charlie made sure that I was driven home in an Uber (that he personally took care of) so I would not be late for a family related activity. In my haste, I left some important personal items in my Enterprise rental, but Brianna put my valuables aside while keeping them safe over the weekend until I was able to pick them up at the start of the new week. I have always had a great experience with Enterprise, but this latest was the very best! Thank you Charlie and Brianna!

    I had to go almost two months without my car, and it was a total nightmare... but the one bright…read morespot was Enterprise in Mira Mesa--specifically Ryan, the store manager. He was a total lifesaver! From the start, Ryan was super easy to reach and incredibly helpful. My rental was only supposed to be for three weeks, but it ended up being seven--and he made sure I was taken care of the entire time. One morning after dropping my son off at school, I realized I couldn't find the Tesla key fob. I searched everywhere, totally panicked, and finally called Ryan. He knew exactly what to do--had Tesla remotely start the car so I could drive it to the service center and get a new fob. But when I got to the service center, they told me they couldn't cut a new fob unless someone from Enterprise was physically present. I called Ryan to let him know, and he literally said: "Hang on--I'm coming down there right now." Ten minutes later, he showed up in person! He didn't have to do that. He could've pushed it off or made me deal with it alone--but he didn't. That level of service is so rare these days, and I felt like such a VIP. This was just one of many times he went above and beyond for me during this whole rental. The situation sucked, but Ryan made it manageable--and actually kind of uplifting. I've rented from Enterprise many times before, but after this experience, I'm never going anywhere else. Thank you, Ryan--you seriously saved me!

However, Stephen Munoz rose to the occasion and called around to different locations to help us secure one that worked for us. Not only that, but he also talked to Hayden in Vista and together they let us keep the same rate we originally booked for, but also let us adjust the number of days we needed it. What great service! We were a bit worried as it was a holiday weekend and since we started our rental on a Saturday, we knew it could have been a very different outcome. We definitely appreciated that Stephen went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience. Thank you and keep up the great work!

    I returned a rental car at the Enterprise location in Vista, San Diego, and accidentally left items…read morein the trunk. The total value of the items is about $1,000. When I called to ask about it, they told me they had my belongings. They even confirmed my name and home address on the shipping bag. Because of that, I drove a total of four hours on Saturday to pick them up, as I live in Pasadena. However, when I arrived, they said they were not sure where the items had been placed. They did insist that they had my belongings and told me they would ship them to my home instead. They also said they would cover the shipping cost. I agreed, as I had no other option. They promised that they would ship the package and call me by Sunday. I did not receive any call. On Monday, I called again. They said they would call me back before 4 PM. I received no call, so I followed up again. I was given the same response and was told they would call me by 6 PM, but again, I received no communication. On Tuesday, when I called, I was told, "I don't know. Have a good day," and they hung up on me. They keep telling me to wait, but I have never received any follow-up unless I contact them first. Now they are even deliberately ignoring my calls and hanging up. I understand that it was my mistake to leave my belongings in the vehicle. However, if they confirmed that they had my lost items, shouldn't they still have them in their possession? If they promised to ship the items to me, shouldn't they follow through with that? If they said they would call me, shouldn't they actually call? I shouldn't need to call more than five times just to get an update. Is this situation something I am reasonably expected to accept? I don't know whether my belongings were lost while in your possession or if there is some other reason for this treatment, but at the very least, shouldn't I receive a proper explanation and an apology?

It may not be quite run like a professional chain of car rentals, but you will receive personalized care and a much more reasonable price. We rented two 15-passenger vans for Mexico (flew into San Diego airport) for a week and all went well! At first, I was hesitant because the price was almost half of what was quoted by EZ rent-a-van and it was hard to believe. I phoned Ryan and Carlos several times to get confirmation and ask questions. Though they are closed on weekends (family time), they get the vans ready ahead of time for rental and are available by phone. The drive was 10 minutes and the vans were ready to go on a Sunday. I paid Friday by phone/credit card on Friday, signed electronically and received the rental agreement. Ryan made sure that everything was good for us. Even, when last minute someone returned one of the vans we were going to use, damaged -- he got a replacement ready quickly. The vans themselves were fine - actually a relief that they weren't new - so we felt comfortable travelling in them. One did have a light come on that lasted, but it wasn't serious. We fit 15 persons and put luggage in a truck. Otherwise, it's ideal to have 11 passengers and then room for luggage in the last bench. We drove 3 hours from the border into the hills past Ensenada and that was fine with the Company. After our trip, we dropped the vans off on a Sunday and put the keys in the box. That was it! We will definitely be using Sun Diego Car Rental again and are grateful that the two vans fit right into our non-profit budget!

He answered all the questions I had, and I even changed the size of the van last minute, and they were able to accommodate us.
