Was the only rental place…read morethat had an SUV available for me and my family, which I had 2 car seats I needed to accommodate. Upon arrival they tried to "upgrade" me to a pickup. No thanks - I ordered an SUV. So then I am given a Durango that was just returned and was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke to put my children into. There was also a chip in the windshield and some bumper damage that was NOTED on my receipt. I actually thought it was an employee car at first because of the condition and how they suddenly had a car available when I refused the "upgrade". So I took this SUV as it was the only one and cleaned it MYSELF and aired it out for DAYS getting the smoke smell gone. 3 weeks later - I returned the car early morning and did key drop off as no one is there. As I'm traveling home I receive emails that I am being charged for this bumper damage. Now I am upset and calling them. They send me a picture of the bumper and are blaming me. I refuse to accept this damage and am disputing it with the main corporation. NOW I have a mysterious charge on my card of $250 with no explanation and no receipt. So I call national and the 800 rep says its for a disposal fee and even she doesn't understand it and is requesting a reversal. I am also disputing this with my card. I will NEVER rent from this national location in Williston ever again.

I made a reservation over a…read moreweek prior (via a customer service rep) and when it came to pick up the vehicle, I was informed that they did not have the truck I booked available and that someone would be in contact with me to discuss. Well I've called the company 4 times and have e-mailed and NO ONE has been able to provide me with a substantial response and I am still without a vehicle.

    AVIS WAS OVERPRICED. I had a reservation with National/Enterprise and due to me not having an…read moreoutgoing flight I was not able to use my debit card (where my money was) since I don't have credit cards. I was furious because no where did it say I had to have a flight to get a rental car since I am staying here for the next 3 month. The manager told Jennifer at Avis my situation and was able to get me a Kia Optima (mid size I believe) at $1700 ($1900 with deposit) for the month. Way too much. The original SUV I had was $1300 so this was way over budget but I had no other options and couldn't use my friends CC since she wasn't here and they would need her to be a driver 1400 miles away Just ludicrous. Jennifer did her job well and tried to get it as close as possible but National/Enterprise just had better rates for larger vehicles. We arrive at 8:45 am. The gentlemen behind the counter was very friendly. I gave him my name and said ***** Insurance company made me a reservation for a rental to be picked up today". He said "oh that's weird because we don't do any insurance rentals on Mondays" I said "well good thing it's Tuesday!" He replied "well Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are the days we don't do insurance rentals." I was dumbfounded. "Uuuummmm so why was the insurance company able to book the date for TODAY?!" He said "I'm not sure but you're here so I'll help you." I'm still dumbfounded but we completed the process, he handed me keys and said "it's a blue Elantra in space 39 I think. If it's not there hit the panic button on the remote to find the car" Thankfully the vehicle was in space 39 so I got into it and you could clearly see they half assed wiped the screen with a very dirty cloth and didn't even bother cleaning the outside of the car....... There were smashed bugs all over the front of the car and the windshield....... It was nasty!! I started the car and it instantly started dinging at me with a message of the screen of "oil change needed. Change oil now" ‍ At this point I needed to get to work so I drove off. Had I gone back inside to complain about the condition of the car...... I was afraid I would've been escorted out I was that irritated. A few days later I went to return said rental and there's ONE sign that says "rental car return" with an arrow. I had no clue where to park it, what to do with the keys, NOTHING!!! It would've been nice to have had some type of instructions at pick up on the return process!! Worst experience with Enterprise ever!!!
