We had a scratch on the driver side of the car and months later, we receive a 1500 euro bill from Sixt for the damage. They claim it is not covered under the insurance we purchased. They had an attorney reach out to us because we would not pay this ridiculous amount for a scratch. Their employees lie to their customers and their contracts are unclear. I'd never rent a car from them again as long as I live.

It was a short and pleasant drive to the city. While some people choose to walk - please don't! It is really a five minute drive and the road is not meant for pedestrians. The hotel was lovely. We got a room with outdoor access from our room. That was a very convenient feature, we were able to come and go as we please without going through the lobby. 5 Stars for the garden and the grounds 4 Stars for the Room itself, but they were very thoughtful since they can't really update such an old building. Wine glasses and opener were provided in the room in case you needed. The bathroom was huge, it was almost as big as the bedroom itself. It had a towel warmer. I really liked the bathtub, but the separate shower area was weird. The staff was friendly. The receptionist on our first night took the liberty to put together a list of restaurants for us to try. I think it was a good choice to stay. Overall it was a good experience.
