She gave us directions and loaned us a map book to use. It was a lovely drive to Bicheno where we spent the night to see the penguins. The second rental we drove to Port Arthur which was another beautiful drive, only wish we started earlier to have more time there; the next day we drove out to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and the Cadbury Factory. I'm glad we hired a car as we would have missed these places (unless we booked a coach tour). The advantage with our own car, we stopped along the way to walk along the beach, take photos or drive a different route if we wished. I would get a car from Rent For Less again. It would be great if all employees were as terrific as Amy!

It is very personal service and the rates are good. The economy car we rented wasn't that great, but it got us where we needed to go around the island. One point: Saving money hiring in town instead of the airport really cost us more since we had to take a taxi to get back from the airport and return to it for flights. Their office hours are until 18 so they don't provide any assistance and they didn't replaced my car. Instead of going to the north i had to go back to Hobart and cancel my hotel and take a hotel near the airport so it was 1more hour of driving. Terrible service!! I had to pay for an expensive hotel and wait for 2 hours on the road plus 1hour traveling back to Hobart instead of continuing to the north. On 28 may i came back to the airport to take another car but they said that they cant provide a full coverage car according to thir rules. i never take cars without full covarage. I claimed to privide me with the reimbursement for the days i didn't use and for time i have lost. It would be nice to have a report of the car condition as i noticed that the car was not stable and acting strange at the begging. Today ils 27 jun 25 and i still didn't get any reply no reimbursement.
