Our first visit with Dr. Kennard was virtual (understandably so) and first impressions were not…read moregreat. The experience to follow did not improve. In our virtual conversation she asked me if I thought Covid was real and told me to get the vaccine, which had nothing to do with fertility. It came off as a lecture. Their communication is lacking. I left 3 messages for an rx issue (Fri.) that was time sensitive. While they fixed the issue, which tells me they received those messages, there was no return call until the following week day (Mon.). Going into my first appointment I was seen by Dr. Rossi. There was no discussion of my blood work or what the results meant. I will say, her bed side manner is 100x better than Kennard. Going in for my IUI, this was the first time seeing Dr. Kennard in person. Her bed side manner is terrible. There was no greeting, no explanation for anything. Just handed me a clip board and told me to sign and that the number was X. I got one word answers to my questions and when asked if this this was still unexplained infertility, her response was "appears so". Infertility is hard. It can be isolating and stressful all on it's own. And with Covid it is even harder, because they don't permit you to have your spouse with you. All of this should not be made harder, more stressful or even more isolating by the office who is treating you. Yes, the end goal is to get pregnant; however, you should not be made to feel like you are going through a pregnancy drive through with no human compassion. Regardless of the outcome of this IUI, I will not be returning to this office.

An excellent group who I was lucky enough to spend a few days working with. Interesting,…read moreinnovative, and truly there for their patients. If I had fertility issues I'd definitely consider their services.

She didn't even listen to me or hear me out on what my concerns were. Very dismissive. horrible…read morehorrible horrible experience. I called into the nurses emergency hotline with his being the holiday weekend. i had a laparoscopy about a month ago and since, I have had two menstrual cycles. The first one that started two days after surgery and lasted two days and then i believe that i started my cycle about 3 days ago now. But the flow is very heavy and very large clots are passing through and when i called in to speak to someone about it, initially tried to say it was from surgery but then I grabbed her attention for all of two seconds and told her surgery was a month ago and she said "well, if that's the case then it can't be from surgery" and told me she doesn't know what it could be. She didn't give me any advise on how to relieve the pain that I was feeling or anything. She then asked "if it happened 3 days ago, what took you so long to call?" I said "well because it's a holiday weekend and I figured you all weren't opened" and she stated "well, you're right. We weren't." She then stated "well it's not that serious since you're not bleeding. Just call your doctor when the office opens." I then grabbed her attention again for all of 0.25 seconds and told her that I am in fact still bleeding and she said well she doesn't know and to call my doctor for during office hours tomorrow. I feel like I was prejudged and dismissed because in the medical field, black women don't feel any pain in their eyes.

I began seeing Dr. Goist when I became pregnant with my first child. She was an excellent doctor. I…read moresaw her for all of my check ups and she delivered the baby. I continued to see her for the following year for regular check ups. I highly recommend Dr. Goist. I found her to be very thorough and patient. Her nurses were always very friendly and helpful. While I was pregnant there were several times when I called the doctor on call and the nurse line for advice regarding OTC medications or symptoms I was having. I found them to be very helpful as well.
