Overall, we enjoyed our 2-night stay at Four Points. I'll break down all our Pros and Cons…read more Pros: -BEAUTIFUL! We LOVED all the finishes! Wood, tile, lighting fixtures, etc. Gorgeous and new! -Super CLEAN! -Not terribly far from the airport. Was about a 12 min UBER ride. -There is a Bar and Restaurant on site -Room was great! Comfortable bed and pillows! Lovely bathroom. -Pool -Near a movie theater -Near a restaurant (Toros Cafe) -Coffee available in the lobby in the mornings. Cons: -(understandable BUT) we got there at 2pm and they (unfortunately) couldn't check us in early. -A lady at the front desk wasn't the most friendly -Pool wasn't open yet (mid-April but 90 degrees) -No mini fridge or microwave in the room -At one point in the middle of the night, it sounded like people above us were going to come through the ceiling. Loudly stomping around in boots(???) -Breakfast is available but it's not FREE (boo) No idea on cost because my husband's work paid for our room. We'd definitely recommend!

(7 min) If you don't have GPS, it may be difficult to find, but if you follow Google Maps, you'll be fine. The receptionist was very helpful, even walked up to my room within 3 minutes of my special request. The lobby was super clean -- which is surprising in an oil field town. My first choice was the Baymont Inn - which was within walking distance to the airport. But, seconds after rolling up, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Let's just say I didn't feel comfortable there.

TLDR: Cute room, friendly staff…read more I went to bed late like at 11:30 PM, and after I slept for what I thought was seven hours I decided I should get up and go to breakfast. It was actually just after 1 AM. I didn't sleep at all apparently. And how could I with the loud nightclub next door. I made my way downstairs and I asked if I could switch to a different room. They said yes and they gave me a new room, which was actually on the same side of the hotel. So I went back down to the front desk again and this time they gave me a room that was on the opposite side of the hotel. So if you stay here, be sure to ask for a room on the residential side and not on the bar side. Unless you're into loud music pumping through your window while you're trying to sleep. Also, the blackout shades didn't really work and the light from the nightclub was also coming through the window. That's why I thought it was time to get up. Once I was able to fall asleep, which was after 2 AM, I slept OK. This had more to do with my state of mind and less to do with the room or the bed. The bed was comfortable, but I had a lot on my mind. I got up for breakfast at 7 AM and I was downstairs at 7:15 AM. They had eggs and the thinnest bacon I've ever seen in my life, and when I and another guest went to get pancakes we found that there was no batter in the machine. Also there was nothing in the frozen yogurt machine. The container for the oatmeal was full of boiling water which was spitting at me while I was trying to get oatmeal. It turns out the breakfast matron was distracted and that was because her tires were slashed the night before. Apparently a lot of people on her street got hit as well. Not a good start to the day for her. I wished her a better tomorrow. I would stay here again, but honestly I hope I never have to go to Midland again. More about my state of mind.

Of course they close at 1-2 am, so we had to listen to that for hours. Other than that everything thing was perfect, large spacious rooms, the bed was perfect, very clean, no bedbugs, and the breakfast was great! I loved my stay, it's just the noise from next door. If I come back I Will stay there, except ask to be on the other side of the hotel.

Should have read the reviews before I went!…read more The good: - the restaurant attached to the hotel. Great Mexican food, cocktails and very friendly and efficient guys behind the bar - friendly front desk staff The not so good: - two night stay, and housekeeping didn't make the bed or refill the coffee - water was lukewarm for the shower - as others have mentioned, the elevator feels like a roll the dice kind of thing - rooms are dated and the bed is dated but was comfortable at least and the rooms were clean - long walk to the room down eery hallways with Kermit the frog green walls - the old and noisy wall a/c units, and mine was like a disco all night with blue what looked like sparks coming from it all night... kept one eye open for that :-) I've stayed in a lot worse, but would only venture back to the restaurant part of the hotel.

Absolutely the WORST hotel I've ever stayed at in my entire life!!!!!!!! DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE…read moreor you'll regret it. Trust me - once you read the entire reason why NOT to book here, you'll thank me. I couldn't wait to check in and enjoy the pool the next day after a job opportunity only to find out that the Wyndham Garden Midland's pool would be OUT OF ORDER. I've never heard of a pool being out of order so whatever. After checking in, I had a long day of driving from Austin to Midland, I couldn't wait to take a long hot shower only to find out that the shower head/shower in general didn't work. When turning on the water, first of all, it never got warm or hot, but the shower head was literally spitting out water; I couldn't believe it as I had just unpacked EVERYTHING from my luggage so what a hassle it was to have to get back into my travel gear, had to walk to the front desk to ask for another room. The 'sucky' part is the room that I was transferred to a SMOKING ROOM; major ugh. Now all of my stuff stinks like smoke. It was hard to breathe during the night - when I left for my job opportunity, I smelled horribly terrible! The new room didn't have any lamps i.e. it was pitch dark so thankfully I had the old room key as I went back to grab the lamps for my new smoky room. Now here's the crappy part - I was starving but didn't feel like driving so I went downstairs to eat at the bar/restaurant and that was a nightmare. It was CRAZY LOUD - the music was so loud; I couldn't hear the young/child waitress. I asked for horseradish, and it was like I was asking for something foreign. She never returned, by the way. I had ordered a steak and shrimp plate with double veggies and as much as I love all of that, the flavor for all three was absolutely gross. What a waste of money. OH and in the second room, there was literally only ONE towel for my three day/two night stay. Really? I asked the front desk for more towels, and I swear they looked at me like I was asking for them to paint my hotel room. After a long day (second day), I asked for another blanket, and it took them 4 hours to bring to my room. I'm sure I'm forgetting something.....OH, I had asked for some fake orange juice from the breakfast area and the front desk person said, "that's only for breakfast" - I replied with, "REALLY?" - after all that I've gone through since yesterday (and then shared ALL that I went through), she said "Let me go ask my Manager" - I was stunned. She then came back and went to the fake orange juice machine, turned it on and poured me two glasses of juice. She just didn't want to WORK and help me, a guest of this hotel. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE! Horrible customer service. Horrible smelling hotel and their pool was out of order. Unbelievable. Everyone I dealt with was slow, unhelpful and/or rude. Disgusting experience.
