A last- minute 1-night stay that turned into 3 nights. My daughter was having her first baby at the hospital, and I traveled 7 hours from South Texas for the big event. Because of all the urgency, the kind hotel desk clerk didn't hesitate to let me check in early. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby and hallway were impressively pretty and sparkling clean. My room was so nice, and it served my needs beautifully. Comfy mattress, plenty of space, with a clean sitting area and kitchenette setup. Loved the two sink areas. The shower was strong with plenty of hot water. Thirsty white towels were plentiful. The breakfast bar really impressed me, with delicious eggs, bacon, waffles, fresh fruit, cereals, bagels... and so much more. Coffee tasted fresh and high quality. Worth every penny, and I'll definitely return when I'm in Midland. read more

Room was overall clean and spacious, however there is a huge gap under the front door so you can hear everything in the hallway. I checked in late at night and when I arrived no one was at the front desk. I tried calling the hotel and messaging through the app but no response. I had to wait for a while for someone to finally show up. read more

Great service and staff, room was nice and comfortable, lobby was clean and well kept as was the outside of the hotel. Only drawback was my shower had hair that was not mine, I let front desk know. The bar was nice and they have a nice gym area, close to HEB grocery store and lots of close by restaurants. I will definitely stay here again read more

Dirty, old, stained, gross feeling. Epic fail with this one. Hardly slept. Couch unusable so old and nasty. Carpet stains. Toilet had hair on it. Front desk was supposed to send someone to clean it - no one came. I always bring clorox wipes. Quick one nighter due to roadtrip. read more

We were happy with our stay here. Check in was quick and the manager was really friendly and accommodating. She even warned us about a large/loud group and put us in a room where we would be away from them. Our room was a larger format than we have seen at similar Springhill's and was clean and quiet. I would recommend this location to anyone. read more

Rating this place is hard to do. Architecturally this hotel is fantastic, You don't feel like you are in Midland until you look out the window and see a dust storm blowing through.The rooms are super comfortable with an interesting layout, the bathroom is a separate room from the tub room. How convenient! And pocket doors on both - what a space saver. The gym was pretty good. Since the hotel is new, the equipment is in great shape. So how did I arrive at 3 stars? The gym: they never replaced the wipes to clean the equipment during my 4 day stay even after being asked a couple of times. Plus the gym could have more amenities like mats, medicine balls, etc. I see the gym going downhill quickly with the lack of attention. Housekeeping: one day they did not pull my door shut, so my room was unlocked all day; they took the soap out of the shower, WTF; they never replaced toiletries, so I had to leave a note to get shampoo; they only left one coffee packet which required a trip to the front desk. Water: everything on site is made with Midland water, YUCK. The coffee at breakfast and the water cooler in the gym are all Midland water. Do yourself a favor and get bottled water to make coffee in your room (after you get more packets from the front desk) and to hydrate. Parking is easy and free; the internet was spotty. All in all I will stay there when in the area. read more

If I could leave a negative star review I would. The manager at this location is very unprofessional and rude. They are racist and discriminatory. Very disrespectful. The manager and some front desk clerk don't know how to speak to their patrons. They offer lackluster service and mediocre accommodations. They take your money and then treat you like crap afterwards. I do NOT recommend this place. Customer service is horrendous. read more

Stayed here on a recent business trip to Midland/Odessa. After having stayed at a competitor's location (whose name I will not mention, but believe me, it was no holiday) on my last visit, this place was a major upgrade and a pleasant surprise. It's a newer construction facility, so I guess it's fair to expect it's going to be nicer than some of the outdated properties in other locations of town. The rooms are clean and modern with all the amenities you would expect from a hotel chain in this price point. No complaints really, other than that - the price. I understand the economy of the area, driven by the oil industry. But it still seems like price gouging when I come for a visit in May and pay $120 for a hotel and come back in early June and have to pay $260. That's crazy. So for overall value, I can't give it 5 stars, based on price. It's not a $260/night hotel, i.e., Hilton, Omni, etc. But if you find yourself in Midland/Odessa and need a place to stay, and all pricing being equal, the SpringHill Suites at Deauville Blvd. is a good option. read more

Everything was clean when we arrived, lobby, bar, our room and the pool area. The interior design was amazing, I forgot I was in West Texas for a minute. Staff check in was quick and professional and the bar tender was great. Wonderful music playing in the background but not too loud. The bar was full- not bad for 6PM on a Wednesday night. Just about everything was great. Check in was a little uneasy as the late night attendant seemed new but that is nothing major. The beds are the worse I've ever slept in. Nice and clean hotel and Alma (front desk person who checked me in) was beyond friendly and sweet. She remembered my name the two other times I went to the front desk, including two days later when I checked out. She is a gem! Also, all the staff called me "Miss" and were extremely polite. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. I was in room 201 which had zero cell phone/internet reception. I had to walk to the other side of the building or go outside. Maybe it was my provider (T-Mobile)...could have been. I was there over the weekend and breakfast starts at 7am. I enjoy having oatmeal for breakfast and both days the oatmeal was done but it hadn't sat long enough to be edible. I had to leave the hotel both mornings shortly after 7 and was forced to buy my own breakfast elsewhere. The hot tub looks very enticing on the photos and in person but it wasn't hot at all...may have been 85-90 degrees, at best. The shower was scalding (and I like hot showers)...you had to turn the lever to, what would appear to be, the very cold position before it would cool down even a little bit. I could see how this could be a potential safety hazard. read more

This is a nice hotel. We stayed here for several days in last December to attend a wedding. It is fairly newly built and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. The girl at the front desk during the afterrnoon shift was nice. Staff overall was friendly with the exception of the front desk person during the evening shift. She seemed annoyed with my young kids in the lobby. But, she was really the exception. They have little chup chup lollipops in the lobby and that was a a nice touch. read more

Expect a very rude, inappropriate, unprofessional, and absent bartender and a GM that condones her behavior. I was appalled by these two and checked out immediately after discussing my concerns with the GM. However, the rest of the staff was great! Just steer clear of the bar unless you want your drinks made by a very lazy woman who chows down on chips and licks her fingers after without washing her hands. Nasty! read more

It's fresh, modern, and provides you with a beautiful suite set up in each room and even gives you a separate bathroom for your shower in case you have guests in your living space. Been waiting on management for 45 minuets to confirm reservation but still nothing... Bathrooms seems to be in good shape. Frozen Snicker bars in the snack bar are pleasing. We came during Thanksgiving week and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was very clean and had a very modern look to it. Check-in was a breeze and the women at the front desk were very nice. Breakfast was not bad, typical hotel food but a big variety, at least the first day. Breakfast on Thanksgiving day offered fewer choices but that was understandable considering what day it was. The drawbacks: went to the bar for a couple of cocktails, my husband thought the bartender to be a bit surly, especially since we were the only customers. There was a huge bag of nuts at the bar and I asked if we could have some. $4.50. What kind of bar charges for nuts? The evening desk clerk on Wednesday, 11/25 (I say the date as I hope mgt. sees this and talks to her)was very inattentive, deciding to spend her time outside, talking on her phone and smoking. All in all, I would stay there again, not a bad hotel, just lacking a bit in the employee department. read more
