By the time they get finished adding a bunch of bullshit charges, like LoJack on vehicles that have GPS locators built in at the factory, plus all the other added service fees etc., the price is actually over a THOUSAND DOLLARS MORE!! I recently visited to look at a vehicle with plans for my grandfather to purchase it for me. I'm 17 years old. While the salesperson I worked with was excellent professional, helpful, and respectful my experience with the owner was highly disappointing. The owner was dismissive and rude, instructing the salesperson to refuse to let me start the car I was seriously interested in, and later denied me access to another vehicle's keys, citing a weak excuse that I was "underage," despite the fact that I am legally able to drive. HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO SELL A VEHICLE IF A BUYER CAN'T EVEN START IT? Additionally, the S550 I looked at was in poor condition: the trackpad had a chip, the glovebox wouldn't close properly, and when my mother started the car, a check engine light came on. This experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I appreciate the salesperson's efforts, but I cannot recommend this dealership due to the behavior of the owner and the state of the vehicles I was shown. read more

I am picky when it comes to cars, it has to be the color I want, and the make and model with the features I want. I was looking to replace my 10 year old Mercedes with a newer one. (Much more affordable to buy them 2-3 yrs old vice new, ya know?!) I kept expanding the search on Auto Trader until it came up with the car I wanted, and Avi Auto Sales came up. You have to remember I live in Vermont as well so I had to open the search up wide to get what I want. What is great about Avi Auto sales? #1, TONS of late-model Mercedes cars! I wanted about a 2015 M-Class, and they had over a dozen of them on the lot. #2, Straight up pricing. #3, Great service from Avi and Daniel! The original MSRP list price when originally sold on this 2015 M-Class I bought was north of $64,500. The price on the Lot at Avi: $31,500. Big Mistake! They pulled a bait and switch on the financing. They flat out lied that the car had a warranty left on it. NOPE, and I could take that to court! I took the car to my Mercedes dealer to get checked out and there were issues that Daniel (Avi's son) tried to play off as no big deal. Tried to get the dealership to warranty parts. Daniel actually asked my service rep how many cracks can a wheel have amd still pass inspection. They will do bare minimal when confronted on an issue. There mechanics (and I use the term loosely) put brake pads on wrong. I never received a manual that was promised. I have had to call and hound Daniel to get problems resolved and I'm still waiting on paperwork. They always have an excuse or act dumb as to why "it" wasn't in the car. warning: Daniel has a masters degree and a law degree.... he's no dummy and knows what he is doing to you. BEWARE read more

Update: Saleslady told me my DE license plate and tags would be in the mail in plenty of time before the temporary tag expires on March 11th. Still not here on March 7th, so I called them to check on the status of my tags. Guy who answered said I had to take my car thru inspection at the DMV in DE and email them the documentation, so they can get my DE tags. WHY THE HELL AM I JUST NOW BEING TOLD THIS? I would have taken care of this weeks ago....when I was not in the middle of surgical recovery. If I get a fine for expired tags... I will drop this rating even further, and NEVER recommend this dealer again. read more

I know everyone always thinks car salesmen are out to get them but this place is NOT one of them! I've seen 2 other reviews on this place but my experience was superb! I had driven past this place so many times & after having a very bad experience at Cherry Hill Mercedes Benz dealer I decided to stop in & see what they had. The office could use a good tidying up & a woman's touch but other than that their entire staff rocks! I am VERY picky & very money conscious at times but these gents were kind, patient, knowledgeable, fair & most of all made me very comfortable with my purchase. The most genuine & fair auto business I've ever dealt with. Daniel & his dad AVI were more than generous with my trade in & I got a fantastic price on my new Mercedes Benz! Daniel was patient in explaining every last detail of my contract & even spent an extra 40 minutes introducing me to all my extras in the car & programmed all my things needed in my vehicle! I would definitely recommend this place & I appreciate the time spent with me so much that I will be bringing my daughter back for her 1st car purchase! read more

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. PLEASE READ. BE AWARE. Especially the guy named Danny. He will trick you with every aspect of the sale. The Mercedes car I purchased had hail damage and Danny hide the facts not only on the website but also during sale. They also didn't report the facts to Carfax which is what I trusted. I purchased the car at night and he made sure I wouldn't see the dents all over the hood which I saw next day morning. He also fooled me on the loan part of the sale as well. He increased the loan amount without my knowledge and also the bank. Neither did he give me spare keys and was asking extra for it. I would strongly advice to read each and every line of the document before you sign any papers with the dealer. BELIEVE ME. THEY ARE NOT TRUST WORTHY AT ALL. BOTTOM LINE: Car prices at this dealer are little cheaper than the rest just because they have some sort of damage that the dealer has either fixed or hiding which they have not reported to Carfax. I am going to write to BBB as well about my experience. I have paper work to prove as well. Do not even waste your time coming in to this dealership. They have cars posted on their site that are not actually on the lot. We even called ahead to confirm a car was on the the lot but after an hour drive we learned it was not there nor available. Instead, the owner, Avi offered us a "much better car" for the price of the car that initially brought us in. They offered us $2,000 less for our trade-in, even though we had a certified Carfax value. After some negotiation, and pushy salesman tactics, we managed to come to an agreement. It was obvious they were trying to dump this car. Right before agreeing to everything, we quickly checked the car fax on our phone and realized they were trying to sell us a reported accident car. It was apparent that all three sale men knew this fact, and were doing their best to hide it from us. What a waste of time. Do not trust these people. Purchased a vehicle from Avi Auto almost 1 year ago. Court date is fast approaching - undisclosed front end damage. Was even given carfax and autocheck clean bill of health! Lied to and purposely misrepresented what I was being sold. The New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act is your friend! What you should do: Do NOT purchase any vehicle from Avi Auto in NJ without having it checked out by someone else first. Pay someone $50 for some piece of mind.
