It is everything you expect from a Kebab shop, but the flavor and seasoning of everything knocks it out of the park. You know you have found a great local shop as an American abroad, when you walk in and the place is absolutely packed every day for lunch, and not a single person speaks English. This was shown to myself and a few of my fellow American friends by some French locals our age. They offer a wide variety of sandwich and kebab options, my personal favorite became the kebab in a wrap, with sauce samurai, and also the sauce pimente. These two were two of the spicier sauces and both complimented each other and the well seasoned meat quite well. The local french usually choose sauce blanc, which is calmer and closer to a dressing. This place is also incredibly affordable! You can get a kebab, small french fry, and a can of soda or bottle of water all for a couple of euro. This set the standard high and even going to other larger cities, could not be topped. Although it is slightly off the beaten path from downtown my friends and I would walk or take the bus here even on break from class, despite the commute just to have the best kebab in town. I highly recommend to anyone passing through, especially if you have never had a kebab before! The only drawback from making it 5 star, is that quite often they would close early, and it made it difficult to get some food there late at night. It would be absolutely amazing if they stayed open past 8 or 9 and maybe even until 10 and were able to hit some of the late night crowd. Either way, definitely my favorite kebab shop in Pau, and arguably in France as well.
