Their duck confit is the best one I've had after several days of eating duck in Paris and in Lourdes. Wifi and cell network speeds in this town is nothing to write home about. The restaurants in the hotel district just outside the Sanctuary are what you would expect of tourism-based businesses catering to often elderly pilgrims from all over the world: a lot of mediocre, lowest common denominator food. I figured we had to just deal with it, since the actual town is up a hill and a bit of a stroll--not really that far, but a world away if you have mobility issues... Fortunately, we discovered that there's an elevator in the street that will whisk you up to the level of the cemetery, rendering the town a reasonable walk away.
