I eventually decided to use Diamond Shine for several reasons - Jake lives locally (Angier), so I knew he'd do a job he and I would both be proud of, his pricing was competitive, his set-up impressed me with its cleanliness, he was professional in dress and demeanor, and he is a Veteran. I like to support small businesses, especially Veteran-owned.

Jacob arrived on time and did a great (perfect!) job with our house, including an upstairs balcony, screened-in-porch, the house, and driveway. The price was surprisingly gentle, too. The "crew" was not consistent in when or if they showed up. The owner constantly made excuses. The replacement doors that they purchased were wrong even though we were told they would figure out the correct swing for the front & side (done right, yeah right). They put in some drainage by the shop for $300. The first significant rain we had all the water backed up into the shop. He said for another $250 he could fix it. He also said they are called "Dunn Right" because it's done right the first time. Watch out folks. He's a smooth talker & will tell you what you want to hear. I urge you to beware. With this company you do not get what you pay for.

He came by next day about fifteen minutes early. He covered up my doorbell and front light and hooked up to my water spigot. I thought they brought their own water like mobile detailers, but no. They don't. The job took close to an hour. Not a bad guy, got the whole place, and we laughed about this and that. He left my front porch mats on the front lawn and was gonna just abandon them there, so I had to go out and retrieve them. That was an issue because I have a robot lawnmower that wouldn't appreciate things just lying in the yard. Otherwise, I cannot complain much. But I feel like the prices for such a job should be a lot lower. But since this is something I get done twice in six years, there's little need to buy my own system for the home. So I'll do my kindness thing by giving him five stars. Bonus: If you bundle with neighbors, you get 20% off. Maybe plan ahead.
