They have a good size Kid Zone. Then they have the history of Fort Collins. Then, I believe, they have a rotating exhibit. At the time was all about Skin. On humans and animals. It was fascinating. Then the best part was the music area. So much interaction! It was great! Definitely recommend. Will definitely be here again.

Even without it though, it's a great price for what you get! There is so much to do and explore here! The music section is definitely a favorite as you get to test out so many instruments! Everything was well maintained (minus one or two exhibits that weren't functioning at the time). The toddler area is great for the little ones to be separate. Personally, I was absolutely stoked for the shadow wall - it's just a fun/silly thing to do. When we ventured upstairs we didn't realize there was a theater until a staff member asked if we were there to see the show. Since we had to get going, I asked if I could peak in real quick to check it out and he was totally fine with it. It looks so cool! We will definitely be back to catch a show in the future.

The most fun, awesome restaurant & special museum experience rolled up in 1!!…read more 1st, their pizza is delicious & extremely satisfying with fresh, lively toppings & different wonderful sauces such as traditional red, creamy garlic, pesto, & so, on; I've only tried their red & creamy garlic so far & they taste great! Fantastic crust & dough, as well. All the appetizers I've haf, such as the garlic parmesan fries & the waffle fires, are tasty & hit the spot. The garden salad is delicious, too! I've had the ranch & the blue cheese dressings & they both are full of flavor, really rich & satisfying; the vegetables are all fresh & tasty. As for dessert, the movie night ice cream sundae & the Ghostbuster mint chip milkshake were wonderful - sweet, creamy, & delicious. The quality of those desserts is well worth the price. Now, for the atmosphere & environment! That is what is truly special & distinctive about this establishment - it is a real bonafide 1980s museum - no joke! It is absolutely jam-packed with tons of delightful, rare, & in some cases, 1 of a kind, memorabilia, sundry vintage retro products, actual movie props & costumes, real signed studio portraits by some of the biggest & most iconic celebrities of the 80s, & tons more artifacts such as posters, advertisements, arcade games, book covers, & so forth. And the soundtrack is absolutely on fire! The fantastic visual overload, including the attractive 80s graphic design elements such as neon colors, vintage typography & signage, & furnishings, is perfectly accompanied by constant back-to-back 80s songs! They are played with their music videos on all the TV screens in every corner of the dining area including a huge flat screen on 1 of the walls! Such fun, memorable, iconographic 80s music videos & they are occasionally punctuated with classic 80s TV commercials, including a political ad by President Reagan, & TV show opening credits sequences with the famous theme songs, such as Family Matters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, She-Ra, Knight Rider, & other great ones! The lighting is perfect, with 80s neon colored lights, that give it the feel of an 80s dance club - so much fun style & atmosphere! I've visited & eat here about 14 times & each experience has been satisfying & a blast - both the food & the nostalgic & joyful party experience of being in their 1 of a kind museum! The staff are also friendly & helpful; they always make sure everything is just the way I want it. I can't recommend Totally 80s Pizza enough. It is must-see, must-visit destination for both tourists passing through Fort Collins & for locals who want a reliable restaurant & entertainment attraction that always delivers delicious food & fun times!!

Let it not be said that a small museum cannot have great impact. While this is far from the Louvre,…read morethe carefully-curated collection here explicitly showcases art that isn't necessarily as widely visible as more 'classical' mediums and forms. The cultural impact of the works presented lends a gravity often diminished by less sincere studies of different cultures' art, and the impact of that visibility on awareness is a massive equalizer. That out of the way, whoever does the curation here has an excellent eye. I spent far longer than I'd expected in the reasonably small museum examining a myriad of intricate details on all kinds of pieces, fro pottery to furniture to paintings and I don't regret a second of it. The aesthetic of the exhibits is all over the place, but that's part of the charm of the museum, and what keeps it from being a massive blur of painting after statue after painting, as larger institutions can become. I look forward to seeing what has rotated out and back in again when next I visit.

I have to say that I got a lot out of looking at the exhibits that were placed here at the time during my visit. There are about three large rooms at least that house most of the exhibits. The permanent exhibit that the museum is a collection from artist Jeanne Nash that comprised of miniature figures and houses that she collected from all over the world. This exhibit was my favorite at the museum. A temporary exhibit called Melanesia which is on display until April 21st was made of various folk art and usage tools from areas in the South Pacific. This is a very large presentation and there is much to absorb so have fun doing it! Some other pieces I really enjoyed was a family incense burner that are placed near the grave sites of family members in Vietnam, an 'electric' light from Botswana which actually uses kerosene in order to work and finally a sculpture of a pirate ship made up entirely of cloves that comes from Indonesia. I am a huge sucker for cloves whether they be used for food, drink or art. Definitely my favorite as far as single pieces go in the museum. The Global Village Museum is a must stop if you are into folk art and especially if you are an art museum aficionado!
