He was very conversant and stayed in the room as he waited for the anesthetic to take effect. The equipment is modern just didn't feel like everything was as clean as it SHOULD be. The tv above my legs is weird and not for me, I had to reassure her yes I want you to shut it off. The staff is overbooked, they all appear to be in dire need of a break (I know the look I wore it all day at my last job)!
