I visited my doctor in early December when I became so uncomfortable because of the pain. I could not push open a heavy door or lift anything even just somewhat heavy. I couldn't reach behind me and the pain woke me as I slept. My doctor recommended PT and I met with a therapist in January, where I was given several exercises and directions to attempt to ease my pain. I found some relief but not enough. I was still taking Tylenol and Aleve in an effort to function and to sleep. In May, a gentleman where I volunteered told me acupuncture helped him greatly. Still skeptical , I mentioned this to a relative and she encouraged me to give it a try since her husband went to Frank Grill and found this treatment to be remarkably helpful. So I went , less than enthusiastically, but I found both Angela and Frank Grill, two very kind people, assured me that this could indeed work. The "happy ending" is this.
