I visited my doctor in early December when I became so uncomfortable because of the pain. I could not push open a heavy door or lift anything even just somewhat heavy. I couldn't reach behind me and the pain woke me as I slept. My doctor recommended PT and I met with a therapist in January, where I was given several exercises and directions to attempt to ease my pain. I found some relief but not enough. I was still taking Tylenol and Aleve in an effort to function and to sleep. In May, a gentleman where I volunteered told me acupuncture helped him greatly. Still skeptical , I mentioned this to a relative and she encouraged me to give it a try since her husband went to Frank Grill and found this treatment to be remarkably helpful. So I went , less than enthusiastically, but I found both Angela and Frank Grill, two very kind people, assured me that this could indeed work. The "happy ending" is this. After only two treatments, I was off the pain medication. After my next treatment , I found myself able to lift items up to 5 pounds but , most of all, I can sleep without pain. I am no longer that skeptic. One of my best decisions ever. (Oh, and the needle part? I hardly knew he was "poking at me" )

I saw three neurologists, a pain management specialist, had Radio-frequency ablation which only made it worse, tried different types of pain medication and went to a physical therapist. Nothing worked. I was at my wits end. A friend recommended Frank. After 2 treatments I started feeling better. After 4 more I no longer had any pain! I was pain free for 13 months and felt wonderful... Early this fall the headaches returned. I had other health issues that may have caused the headaches to return. I visited Frank again and Voila! After 5 treatments the headaches are gone! I have to say, "It's amazing!" I highly recommend Frank. Honestly, I was extremely resistant - I didn't want to see a therapist, I didn't want to talk through issues, and I really didn't think CBT would help at all with my sleeping problems. I finally gave in, agreeing to "time box" the sessions to 10 weeks, just to give it a shot and see if it would help. After my first session with Amy, my wife and I both noticed improvements in my ability to fall asleep, my quality of sleep, and my overall mood and energy because of my sleep, within just a couple of days. Fast forward several months later, including multiple weeks of seeing Amy more than once a week. The 10 week "time box" is obviously well past, and I've begun to allow Amy and her expertise into more of my life and to help me deal with even more issues in my life, from being a better husband, father, employee, and just a better person in general. To be completely honest, I really wanted to not like seeing a therapist, and frankly, not like Amy. But now, I can't imagine my life without seeing Amy and having her help me through things, give me my homework, and help me to learn that I can work through mental hurdles with various strategies she's taught me. Amy has always been available - she's very prompt to return phone calls and even text messages when I have needed her, has been very flexible to work around my schedule, and genuinely cares about me and my family. If you're looking for a great therapist and someone who will care about you, get to know you, and take time for you, I highly recommend Amy. She's helped more than my sleep, she's changed my life and sticking with her past 10 weeks has been the best decision I've made in a long time.

So I honestly assessed my massage experience. Shortly after, he wrote me a long email telling me that I was wrong and that he actually went over an hour based on his music list...which he judges time on. Umm.....how about looking at a clock to figure out how long the massage was?! I did look at the clock and I was indeed shorted. I have no reason to lie about this and am shocked that I would contacted later to be called a liar. Furthermore, I went back on his online appointment setting site and found that he removed my review. What an interesting way to keep ratings high. Sad. As far as the massage itself, it was mediocre.
