Unlike some Boots stores local to me which are cramped and overcrowded, this Boots has a great spacious layout and it's easy to find what you're looking for. Boots always used to be an expensive store, but nowadays I find that they often have great competitive deals on the product that I use. On top of this, their loyalty card means that you get approximately 4p (4 points) back for every pound you spend, as well as being mailed coupons where you can get bonus points. Recently there have been a few good points deals such as getting 500 (£5) worth of points when you spend over £50 in one transactions. Their 3 for 2 deals make good great xmas presents too!

This is one of the smaller branches of Boots (compared to the one in The Bridges shopping centre)…read morethough like all Boots it has some good promotions on at certain times of the year. These include special points offers for clubcard users (e.g. 600 points on a £60 spend). Their three for two offers are always very good for xmas presents. If I remember rightly, they recently had an offer on where if you spent £5 instore you got a free £5 voucher for Boots Time Delay products and a free £5 No7 voucher! You can't get better than that, especially as there were sub-£5 items so you could get these for free. Though I did find that these products tended to sell out very quickly and often were not restocked. Not sure whether this was just a marketing ploy to get you to purchase a more expensive product? All in all this is a nice little branch of Boots - the waiting time for collecting prescriptions isn't half as bad as at larger branches and the store is generally very clean and spacious.

They sell sandwiches so you can grap yourself a meal deal on the way to work. Keep an eye out for posters and promotions to collect extra points on your advangage card or for the vouchers they give away when you spend over £5. Some products you need to watch the price of because can be more expensive than other shops. Overall a clean and very friendly shop this shop has no carpark.

This is my local chemist, but I rarely use it. I tend to just use it if I am caught sort for…read moretampons or need travel sick tablets etc. Basically anything that you need a chemist for, but not a prescription. A lot of elderly people use this chemist, I assume it is since there is a bus stop outside. I find that the people working in the store ask stupid questions sometimes eg Are those tampons for you? personally I think that is an irrelevant question.
