I never been to this park but I looked in that area and this park looked nice and seemed to have trails for our kids hiking levels. The kids loved this park, amazing trails, not that hard that go inside the woods or along the river. Lots of scenic stops, and lots of fun in general. What made us very happy is that this park ALLOWS DOGS (a big thing in Quebec). The park is also very popular as a fishing spot, or for mushroom pickers. The entry is about 5-7$ pp and there is free parking, you can see all the details and trails on the park site, they are also very friendly (and speak English) over the phone. Overall a well deserve 5 stars !

Great waterpark but don't recommend going before July. We…read morewent late June lots of stuff was closed and the main attractions were partially closed to start at a lower point in the mountains to turn off the lift. Obviously this is because they want to keep lower staff and be more profitable in the month of June. Of course they still charge full price around 40$ so we'd expect to have access to a functioning park lol

I love water parks and Mont Saint-Sauveur scratched that itch for me…read more It's a high quality, clean water park with a number of activities to be had for children of all ages. You're rewarded with a beautiful scenic view as you're spending time on a mountain slope over-viewing nature. This is even more apparent since I came here on a beautiful sunny day and even enjoyed myself even when I waited in line to do the rides. Sure, the wait can be 15-20 minutes long but that's part of the game. I simply couldn't help myself and wanted to look at the beautiful horizon as I passed the time. The lobby area consists of a huge ski lodge where you can change and in the winter, keep warm. Yes, this slope is also used to ski. The park itself has about 20 slides of various levels of difficulty. There's traditional attractions like the pool with waves, the lazy river and the such. I really liked "the manic" which is a lazy river for advanced people who get to pushed down stream by waves, sometimes so big you can be tossed into the water. The cascades was also another favorite of mine. There's a big section for small children, so parent/child can keep themselves busy. A few tips : - I would suggest coming during the weekday as it gets quite busy during weekends, it was still quite busy even though we went on a Wednesday. - Buy your tickets online the day before, the money you save it quite notable. - Get some water shoes, walking barefoot for hours on asphalt wasn't the most exciting experience.

$2,500 Snowmobile Tour…read more My son and I did a snowmobile tour with Tyroparc and some friends in January, 2023. We have riden snowmobiles before so I was looking forward to it. The first half hour or so was fine. When we got to a short but steep hill our instructor stopped the tour and told us to go over the hill slowly and not use the brakes on the way down the hill as it can throw the passenger (in this case, my teenage son) off the snowmobile. This was not the first time I've ever driven a snowmobile, so I wasn't expecting any issues. When we went over the hill, we found ourselves headed towards a group of small trees. I tried to turn the snowmobile away from the tree while at the same time not using the brake. I wasn't able to negotiate the turn and we crashed directly into the tree. My son and I were both thrown off the snowmobile. My son was okay, thank goodness, but the impact to the tree left me dazed. I sustained a minor concussion and a strained wrist, as I had put my arm up to block my son from the tree. The snowmobile was totaled, as you can see from the photos. When the guide started up the snowmobile, there was a loud explosion in the engine. Despite my dazed mental state, I was told to drive this dangerous vehicle with my son on the back for several minutes. The instructor said he asked me if I was OK to drive it and apparently I said yes, but I was in no condition to make such a decision. It could have caught fire or who knows what else. When I got back to my hotel, and told my wife what had happened, she asked how we got the snowmobile back to the headquarters, and I couldn't remember. To literally add insult to injury, I had to pay $2,500 for the damage because I signed a waiver saying that I am responsible for all damages incurred. While I do accept some responsibility, my son and I were treated in a very reckless manner by the instructor. He was a nice guy but it was very alarming to my friends and son that I was in no condition to be driving immediately after a heavy impact of a snowmobile into a tree, which threw my son and I off the vehicle. I spoke with several managers from Tyroparc in the weeks after to see if we could come to some sort of compromise about the $2,500 owed, but it had already been billed to my credit card and as far as they were concerned, I was in another country hundreds of miles away, and it was case closed. I understand that most people don't crash into a tree and you probably won't either. But it's also important to know that Tyroparc's instruction before the crash and the assistance after the crash were both in my experience, negligent at best and dangerous at worst. Happy holidays!

Following up on Mark's review below, this place is a winner!…read more Our family went during the Summer but we do plan to go back in Winter. This location is open twice a year for a limited time and is great for families with young children 2-7. Price tag wise this place is reasonably priced with lots of available free parking. Finding the location is pretty easy and check-in t buy tickets was effortless as the line moved quickly. I like how they give each child a name tag with their name with an elf label. Innovative and incredibly cute. Santa's Little Helper. Fantastic! The park is pretty big for what it is. There's a pet farm, water slides, bouncing castles, dozens of elf huts to visit each with a different activity inside and of course... Santa Claus in the center of it all! The park was pretty busy but the layout is pretty spread out so we never waited more than 5 minutes for any activity. My daughter loved it. Santa was great and I appreciated how he effortlessly greeted her and was all into it. Having him call her by name (She forgot about the name tag at this point) made it feel magical for her. This is how you do it people. Santa was fully bilingual and Santa's house was perfect. Fully recommend.

We were welcomed by two amazing women who assisted with everything we needed. The room was comfy, clean and incredibly eco friendly. It is very quiet and the bed is comfortable as well. The restaurant downstairs was packed for both lunch and dinner with a line out the door. The food was perfectly prepped, spiced and cooked. Carefully selected beers, ciders and wines and they just make it feel like home. DELICIOUS! The service was fun and made the food even better. We felt like we had known everyone for years. It is a very relaxed, casual environment. We walked around for hours. It seems to be an incredible community. We thought about packing up our family and moving to Canada after this stop. We had a wonderful breakfast and the owners mother welcomed us. It felt like visiting your favorite aunt!! Simple, delicious, family style buffet that was a perfect start to our final day on the trail. We absolutely cherished our visit here and will plan to come back! Update: we are staying in a hotel in Montreal this evening that is $500 per night. The service was better here than at a 5-star hotel. I wish I was kidding.
