I picked this hotel off the Internet as it was close to a local venue where i had to attend a Gala…read moredinner. After a rushed trip I found myself with little time to get myself to the function. I was met at the door by the very friendly owner. She made me feel very welcome. She arranged to have my bill finalised and a receipt left on my bed and a taxi ordered in the morning to take me to the station early in the morning. Great service. The room was basic but clean and comfortable.great value for the £35 I paid for a good night sleep . Sadly I did not get to try the breakfast as I had to leave at 6:45 and breakfast did not start till 8:30. A little late for a business user. Would I stay again ? Most defiantly I will .

Cleanliness is of a good standard. Location is not so good if you have mobility problems as long walk into torquay town but we love it. We have had many happy times here.
