Ok so this post is long overdue but it has been on the back of my mind since I worked with Farhan 2 months ago (that's how amazing the service was). I had a last minute event come up and needed some posters and custom cut-outs made. I was referred to AVCS by a friend. I was a little skeptical at first because it is a small private company so I didn't know how things would turn out, quality price, etc. Boy am I happy I went through with it. I gave AVCS a call and spoke with Farhan and told him about my 48 hour deadline. He didn't skip a beat, assured me I was in good hands, and was extremely professional throughout the entire process. He sent me various images of the protoypes he had ideas for (better than what I had even asked for) and then recommended a more cost effective material than the one I was requesting. He gave me various quotes and options. The end product came out better than I could have even imagined, earlier than my deadline. 24 hour service! Amazing. Small businesses usually like to squeeze every penny out of you but not ACVS. They let their work and craftmanship speak for itself at prices that are super reasonable. They have a customer for life! Farhan runs and owns AVCS. He's a really genuine guy, has a lot of experience and treats people with respect, particularly when you don't know what you're talking about! Also, AVCS's prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other computer repair companies. This might be because he works out of his house or because he's not trying to rip people off. Either way, it's nice not to feel like I'd be better off buying a new laptop just because the cost to fix the old one is astronomical. It's also nice that the initial consult is free (again, unlike other computer repair places) so you really know if it's worth fixing. Also, all of the prices are listed on the website so there are no surprises or fees you weren't expecting on your final bill. The best part for me is that he was able to take an initial look at my laptop, diagnose the issue and fix it during my short stay over a long-weekend in the Chicago suburbs. WOW is all I can say about this company free estimates free 1 year warranty wow you cannot even get free estimates now a days. The service is quick friendly and accurate they really put care into what they do and provide as a company. I was really happy with my in home theatre set up. I had a 55 inch LCD hung with a automated 100 inch screen that rolled down from the ceiling and a high quality project across the room. I am very happy with the setup. My mancave is now the talk of the town. All the wires were cleaned up and hidden very neatly as well. Im happy with the service and my poker nights have not been the same since we use to rotate our nights however since AVCS came and worked their magic the guys only wanna do poker at my house. Hehe. Great service and top notch work. Tech was great to work with, very patient with me as I wasn't too sure what I wanted. Tech understood what I wanted, and presented the options that fit my need. I was very concerned with damages with my brand new Samsung 55' LED D8000. Very expensive unit. The AVCS handled the project with upmost care and professionalism. The finished project was amazing. Farhan is great to work with! He's very knowledgeable and experienced with what he does. I first went to AVCS because I had a laptop that wouldn't turn on. He knew exactly how to fix it and gave me a one year warranty on it (that saved me A LOT of money since I didn't have to buy a new laptop and going elsewhere (Geek Squad) would have cost me WAY more). AVCS has done an incredible job with my laptop. I needed my computer to run like new again and AVCS more than delivered! I found out I had 12 viruses I never even knew I had and as a consideration for my safety, I was advised to cancel credit cards that I had used for online shopping. We called the AVCS team to install surround sound and mount our 42" inch TV in our downtown condo.
