She has found issues that were missed by previous acupuncturists. She pays such great attention to every slight change, whether it's the color of the veins under my tongue, color of tongue, changes in my pulse etc. Her holistic approach has truly made a difference for me from sleep, stress, inefficient liver and pancreas, constipation, tension headaches, and of course my primary reason for seeing her. She explains everything that she's doing and why and ties it back to my symptoms and connect it with other issues I am having. I like the fact that they have package deals, which makes it more affordable especially if you're seeing a practitioner weekly. Their herbs are more affordable than some other places and they seem to be of better quality (GMO-free etc, dairy free, gluten free etc). I love that this clinic is very clean and the acupuncture beds are comfortable. The rooms give a serene vibe as they play music in every room to keep you relaxed. You won't hear the conversations through the walls and they do not rush your treatment sessions - huge deal breakers compared to my previous acupuncture clinic. Karen also gave me Chinese herbs (pills) to help regulate my Qi. After a few months I got pregnant and stopped seeing Karen (due to other doctor expenses and out of precaution during pregnancy). I wanted him to try something unconventional to these doctors he had been seeing that never even bothered to even feel his neck for a simple evaluation before ordering more pills and scans. The doctor felt his neck and found two of his cervical disks misaligned and popped them back into place and basically told him he's fixed and never to come back. I've never heard of a doctor saying we don't want to see you again! My husband has already recommended this place to his family and I can say he's back to being my husband again and no longer moody and grumpy.
