We were on a road trip and knew our window to have lunch was closing soon (in France, lunch is usually noon - 2PM).
Thanks to online reviews, we found this delicious restaurant in a tiny town, not far from the main highway.
In the best of French fashion, the simple exterior belies a gastronomy and service that is elevated. The menu was vast and varied - this is far from just bistro fare.
Service was personable, professional and well paced. We stopped for a meal, but instead, we had a delicious respite, served with care, in a clean, quiet dining room, surrounded by local residents.
Definitely a delight, This was an experience in Real France, far from the throngs of tourists. read more
