The smoked trout pancakes were paired with some goat cheese cream and pink peppercorns that really balanced the flavor so well. We were very happy with our meal and would recommend for anyone looking for fresh brunch options.

It was a really hot day and all the tables outside were full so we sat inside. They had multiple big fans as well as bringing us a personal table fan (nice surprise!). Everyone we interacted with was really nice. Our French was minimal, but our server spoke great English. I got the daily special/plate of the day. To start with, it was a watermelon salad with ricotta cheese, toasted pine nuts, and balsamic. It was SO good and absolutely perfect for the hot day. My main dish was fish with a fresh salsa, pureed carrots (great flavor!!) and broccoli. All of it was amazing and something I would definitely order again!!

She just turned 12 last week and so with so much joy and excitement, they went to the cafe. The woman (red-haired) opened the door with NO smile, NO friendliness and even after my husband said with so much joy that our daughter was 12. Guess what her reaction was? She said, "Is she really 12?" She was mean and gave terrible customer service. Why would she start with such distrust when he just said our daughter was 12 and had been waiting for a year to come? On the other hand, there was a woman with dark hair who was VERY kind. She smiled and welcomed them and the customer service was excellent. She explained about the cheesecake, different types of milk, etc. We have lived in France for almost 7 years and are TIRED of awful service. Please tell the dark-haired worker she did a great job and ask the red-haired woman to consider her actions because it brings down your reputation. We hope to have a better experience next time.

The pecan pie looked appealing but that is were it ended. It was not sickly sweet like an American pecan pie but was more like a tart thickness, boring and without joy sim it up They do have a fee based upstairs coworking space which I thought was cool, perhaps WeWork could learn a trick or 2 from them but otherwise I will cross this of and move on Perhaps we were unlucky but if you do want to visit make a reservation and try to get to get there when the cats are active

We got the pain au chocolat and butter croissant. The pastries here are, in my opinion, a great price (less than 4 euro total for both). The pain au chocolat had an ample amount of chocolate inside, was crispy on the inside, and soft on the inside. The butter croissant was airy and flaky. There are plenty of other pastry options within the shop to choose from - would definitely recommend stopping by if in Lyon!

I stopped by around 1pm on a Monday and there was about 3-4 people in front of me, but it moved quickly. The staff were super friendly, and they spoke English as well. They had so many delicious looking pastries and savory items. I'd heard that Lyon is known for this pastry, brioche praline, so I wanted to try it out. I personally wasn't a fan of the taste. Just not my cup of tea, but I'm sure the other pastries were good. I'd come back and try other items.

All I wanted was a decent plain croissant and a cappuccino and both were a major disappointment. The plain croissant reminded me of something I would get at a hospital or a bakery that labels things as croissants when they are clearly not. No flaky outer layer...just the same as what you find inside. So sad. As if this wasn't enough of a disappointment, as my husband and I sat down to enjoy our cappuccinos (sadly made from a machine and not espresso as I had hoped), we discovered that neither of our coffees actually had any coffee in them and were literally just the milk. The only reason this place gets any stars is I did also purchase a bread with raisins and nuts and I thought it was actually ok. If Sunday this is your only option...think twice or maybe just avoid the croissants and coffee as it seems other comme y'a indicate the actual pastries are ok.
