A bit outside the center, but close to a metro (Tomberg). They sell among other things fabric, paint, clay, cake decorating supplies, yarn (brand Katia), Washi tape. Also, they a had lot of craft related stuff for kids. If you would only have the time to visit one craft shop in Brussels, I would recommend going to Schleiper at place Jourdan instead because its bigger.

It seems to be a big store but the amount of space they occupy for certain crafts (beads and pearls, scrapbooking) makes other departments look tiny (bake supplies); that being said I think the choice of products are limited which makes it impossible to compare prices, and you have no option but to take the more expensive brands. The store is located in an upper side of Brussels, but I'm used to a more down to earth shopping experience with more choices and lower prices. What is really fun is when you take a kid to the shop and let them pick something to work on at home! This is one of those FUN shops to do with kids.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the store has a good (but expensive) selection of briefcases, satchels, pens, etc. They also have a nice choice of postcards for tourists. Thanks to Yelp I came across Papeterie NIAS! This place has everything--paper (regular computer and fancier paper), labels, pens, pencils, binders, agendas, cards, bookbags, and so on. Sometimes, I find it important to see things in person instead of ordering online....only thing is that the items are all a bit pricey.

This is more of a 3.5 star, but I'm being nice. :) Stationary store that has more pens and fullscap…read morebooks than anything, with some reading material, wonderboxes, and craft stuff for kids mostly. A few things like paperclips and sticky notes can be found at the back. I went in on a whim, surprised at how big and busy it was... Long lineups here! Bought a discounted pen set and one was broken, so I exchanged it for another. One of the pens was a fountain and didn't have ink (no way for me to know that) so they showed me how to use it for ink wells (really? Cool) as well as some ink cartridges. The staff member made a deal about erasable ink, no idea why, and I walked out with some fun purple and teal ink cartridges for €1.45/6 cartridges, and two working pens. Yay! The staff are a bit slow here and the waits long for help, but it's a fantastic location, and has a huge amount of stock.
