I booked an appointment there in june 2018 for Yumi lashes, a lash enhancement. I didn't want to do…read morelash extensions because I find that my lashes are long enough, but it's just that they point downwards. So this was a perfect alternative. I had an appointment at 13h15. When I arrived, there was a note on the door that said that they would be gone 30 min... There was no timestamp and no reason written. I thought there must have been an emergency because they had my phone number, so they could have phoned/texted me if needed. I waited 45 minutes and the note was there before I arrived. Finally two women arrive, and they absolutely did not apologise.They had completely forgotten my appointment and thought I was a person just dropping by. So I reminded them that we had an appointment and they STILL did not apologise... I thought to myself, "They must have a lot of appointments today if they forgot me". They sit me down, the woman explains to me what's going to happen. They were very nice ladies, she explained every step which I appreciated. The place was very clean, but they had 2 little dogs which I loved but it's not for everyone. The process itself was fine and 2 clients dropped by during that process, so it was fairly empty. After the enhancement was done I asked her if she had forgotten me, she said no, because I was the only appointment that day... Which confused me. I then asked her why she didn't text me, she dodged the question and told me that she went to have lunch and didn't even have time to finish. It was clear that people that come here are regulars. They don't get many appointments I think. Conclusion: The service 9/10 - I got exactly what I wanted, she was patient and explained the steps and the service was executed fine. Alors, je leur ai rappelé que nous avions un rendez-vous et ils ne se sont toujours pas excusés... Je me suis dit: "Ils doivent avoir beaucoup de rendez-vous s'ils m'ont oublié". Elles m'assoient, la femme m'explique ce qui va se passer. Elles étaient très gentilles, la femme m'a expliqué chaque étape, ce que j'ai apprécié. L'endroit était très propre, mais il y avait 2 petits chiens que moi j'ai adoré, mais ce n'est pas pour tout le monde. Le processus en lui-même était bien et que 2 clients sont passés au cours de ce processus, c'était donc une journée plutôt calme. Après le rehaussement, je lui ai demandé si elle m'avait oubliée, elle a répondu que non, parce que j'étais le seul rendez-vous ce jour-là... Ce qui m'a déconcerté. Je lui ai alors demandé pourquoi elle ne m'avait pas envoyé de SMS, elle a esquivé la question et m'a dit qu'elle était allée déjeuner et qu'elle n'avait même pas eu le temps de finir. Il était clair que les gens qui viennent ici sont des réguliers. Je pense qu'ils ne reçoivent pas beaucoup de rendez-vous. Conclusion: Le service 9/10 - J'ai eu exactement ce que je voulais, elle a été patiente et a expliqué chaque étapes et le service a été exécuté correctement. Accueil du client 2/10 - Aucune excuse pour avoir 45 min de retard, oubli son seul rendez-vous de la journée et pas d'accueil à proprement dit.

Being able to communicate with the stylist is a basic priority for me, obviously. And my French vocabulary does not include words like "layers" or "highlights". I made an appointment easily and resigned myself to the fact that I would possibly have to sport a ponytail for awhile if it went badly. My hairdresser was Hugo-I was happy to discover he spoke perfect English. After being taken downstairs for a hair wash/condition and sitting in a massage chair, Hugo went to work. He needed very minimal direction from me. I was worried he wouldn't know how to cut my hair as it's thick and wavy/curly but he did a very good job. I was very happy with the end results-he listened to exactly what I wanted and I think this may have been one of the best haircuts I have ever had, including from the USA. It's a bit pricey but it was worth it to me. They only take cash so be sure to bring euros. I wish they were in California so I could go back!

The third time Sebastian proceeded to applying his "special technique" to give my hair volume without explaining that meant cutting my hair unevenly in the deeper layers and that it would make my hair curl in an unmanageable way. He also cut it more than 10 cm shorter than what I thought we had agreed. I really do not recommend Blow. For a premium fee, you'll be offered the latest cut everyone has and no particular insights into what cuts suit your hair type.

Ladies and Gentlemen once you go Paul Mitchell there is no going back to any other hair products, especially cheap ones! When you buy Paul Mitchell hair products online or at one of their salons, then you are guaranteed that it's the real deal. Be aware of counterfeit vs real Paul Mitchell products, you will run across those type of products from time to time at a few Salons. Counterfeit hair products means the product is watered down, missing ingredients or extra ingredients. I also notice some unethical hair salons in Amsterdam double the price for the hair products. So it's probably best to just stick with the real Paul Mitchell salons. FYI: Tip for men in Europe, please stop buying Head and Shoulders and check out Tea Tree Shampoo, you will so love it! And even though it's expensive for Antwerp, it is really cheap for someone like me. Only bad thing I would say is that even though the hairdresser realised I wasn't speaking Flemish, they were joking around in flemish and looking at my face making me feel uncomfortable and also irritated the back of my scalp while shaving it. I'll still go there because they do a great job. I would although appreciate to feel more valued as you pay the price for it.
