Sold me a battery that was way overkill for my car, I only needed 500 cold cranking amps, but they sold me a 710, they didn't even tell me that I could buy the cheaper battery, it wasn't until I went over to Walmart when I found out, I will not be buying from this auto zone again. AutoZone on Highway five in Woodstock Georgia is a joke they sell bad parts and then will not refund your money all of your money back. My example is I bought an AC compressor for an O2 blazer. I had to buy the oil for it and two cans of Freon actually three. They returned the defective compressor, but would not refund what I paid $100 for the Freon because they said the cans were empty it was used well. I wasted the Freon because I put it in a defective compressor. They refused to refund my money when they should have because it was their fault. They have no honor they have poor customer service I have called the regional manager, and if I don't hear from him, I will go above his head till I get a resolution I would never buy auto parts or anything there ever again never . read more

Manager Michael is the best. I had battery issues and he immediately helped me test it and replace it. Fast and easy. He was out in the heat and had to deal with a difficult to remove battery but was pleasant the whole time. This is my go to auto parts store now. read more

At 8:40pm I arrived at this store with battery issues. I walked in, knowing they closed in 20 minutes, and requested a battery test. I even said "sorry for coming in right before close." John Thompson, the store manager, said "We have 20 minutes it's no problem whatsoever." He walked out and helped me with my battery. He was very honest with me about the issue. He brought me right inside, gave me his professional opinion about needing a new battery, walked right out with me and installed it for me in minutes. This was a very wonderful experience. First off. Worst customer service in the world. The man wouldn't talk to me. Slapped the box I needed in the counter AND walked off while I was talking. I said I needed help to put the part on my car and he told me to look at my manual? It was a fuel cap because mine had a crack and would pass emissions even though it's a new car. I told him that I needed one that was certified/ or would pass the test. I get to the emissions place and they tell me gave me the most generic crappy type there was and it wasn't even eligible to be tested that's how bad of a product the employee gave me, knowing what I needed. This was my third time giving this place a try because it's close to me. But all and all looks like O Reilly's gained another customer. Don't. Go. Here. Very helpful people. After they did a diagnostic test they explained what I needed to fix the problem. They helped me with parts, tools and directions. I was baldy in need of a set of front rotors, I looked up the closing time and it said they closed at 10, it was 9:00 exactly so I called and called. 15 min later I finally got some one on the phone as soon as he started looking up the parts he just hung up. I called again this time it took 4 try's for them to answer at that point I just gave up. Customer service sucks.... if you really don't like your job that much why work their??? DO NOT go to this AutoZone unless you like being ignored or treated rudely. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. These guys acted like customers were an inconvenience to them. They were also incredibly slow; I was waiting to check out and there was a guy behind the counter just standing there. I told him I wanted to check out and he told me to go to another register but then yelled for someone else to come, and that guy took another 5 minutes! Bought wiper blades down the street at NAPA, which didn't have anyone to help install them. Tried installing myself, couldn't figure it out. NAPA had recommended that maybe AutoZone had somebody to help install. The AutoZone staffer at the counter was going to help install w/o charging, he tried and determined that they didn't fit. So I bought the blades here, they cost less, the AutoZone staffer installed them, was pleasant about it the whole time, and I returned the other ones at NAPA. Thanks! read more

AutoZone used to be my go to store until today's experience. After asking an employee to help me find a part for my truck he told me he was busy(he was on his phone). After finally finding it after 30 minutes of looking I went to check out and say at the counter for 10 minutes while he gave me to finger to wait.
