Will never shop at this Autozone store again.
Placed an order for nearly $1000 for 8 ignition coils, 8 spark plugs and a wire set. Had to wait for all the parts to come in, no problem. Was promised it would be delivered the next morning, no problem. Was told that 5 out of 8 ignition coils would come in later in the day, again no problem. Paid over the phone to secure the order. Logan who took my order, being a floater from a different store took my email address down incorrectly after I provided it to him 4 times. So I never got my receipt. He then proceeded to send me pictures with his phone showing me a receipt of different screens on his computer and a receipt showing I have a remaining balance of $400 some odd dollars. I accessed my bank statement showing my card was charged $901.95. He assured me that was a mistake and that everything is paid for and to trust him, so I did. Meanwhile I can hear a manager by the name Mike say in the background he shouldn't be doing that and the order is not correct. However after they continued to discuss this, Logan again assured me that everything is perfect. I again said I'll take his word for it. I asked to have a receipt printed for me when I arrive. I also asked to be called when everything else comes in as I am on a time crunch and will come back for the other 5 ignition coils. I was not notified as promised. Had to call myself and come pick up the parts that did arrive. When I arrived I recieved the wire set, 3 ignition coils, again knowing that 5 more will be arriving later that day and only 1 spark plug. Why would I order 8 of everything else and only 1 spark plug? To make matters worse, when I was told that the other 5 ignition coils will be in later that day, they wanted to make me pay for them again. I showed them my bank statement showing I was already charged however it didn't show on their end. Later Mike somehow found a tracking number that showed they will arrive the next day instead. That is not what was promised to me initially by Logan. To make matters even worse the only location that had 7 more spark plugs was 13mile and Woodward. So I had to drive all the way there through rush hour traffic and get 7 more spark plugs. Again on a time crunch. I asked Mike what he can do for the inconvenience and he told me he would "take care" of me when I come pick up the other 5 ignition coils. I asked him if he will be in when I come in and he assured me he will. No surprise when I come pick up the ignition coils no sign of Mike. Desmond however was avaialble and he told me he had no idea of any of this and that Mike does a poor job communicating when it's time for shift change. Another female associate had to explain to Desmond what happened and that Mike said he would "take care" of me when I return to pick up the 5 ignition coils. I also asked Desmond to reprint the receipt for my $1000 order which he could not do and said he would have to reach out to corporate and have them email it to me. He also said he would need to talk to the DM or GM in order to compensate me. I assume he was not empowered to do so. I informed him that I have already been heavily inconvenienced and that I dont want a discount or refund. I would simply like a $100 gift card so I may use it for my future visit to a
Autozone. He said he understood however he still needs to go through the DM or GM Or Mike. I also understood and accepted this response. He made me write down my email address and phone number and assured me that he will also talk to Mike the next day and make sure Mike calls me with a resolution. I waited the entire day for Mike to call. I called at 4:41 thinking Mike will be getting off of work at 5pm. When I asked for him a female associate answered and I was informed he was out of the building for half hour. I asked to be called back. She knew who I was and said she will have Mike call me before he leaves at 6pm. I waited until 5:47pm and still did not hear from Mike. I called and asked for him. Was put on hold without any acknowledgement and Mike finally answered. I introduced myself and Mike started to quickly say, "yeah you just want that $100 you think you deserve, come in and I'll give it to you". Through all this happening from the beginning I was calm and never raised my voice or use vulgar language. I informed him I work everyday until 8pm and if he can have the gift card ready for me. He said no and to come see him when he is there. I asked if there is anyone else besides him that can do it for me. He again said no and to come see him. I was astonished with his demeanor and stated, "I dont need the $100 gift card which I was going to use at your store anyway. I can sense your annoyment and lack of empathy and will just come back to return everything." He continued to say he has a line of customer he's dealing with and so forth. I am also a customer and have spent $1000 in your store. He said, "that's fine so long as it wasnt opened and installed, we hate to read more
