I was in the area and I wanted to check on some seat covers. This store had a good selection of them and the prices were not bad compared to a discount big box store. The good thing I like about many of these Auto stores is that they let you browse and take your time, without being bombarded by salespeople. Advanced Auto parts was founded in 1932 in Roanoke, VA. Today the headquarters are in Raleigh, NC. They have many subsidiaries like Carquest, WorldPac and Autopart International. They employ over 68,000 people in close to 5,000 locations in the US with a revenue of over 10 billion USD. They serve both professional installer and do it yourself (DIY) customers. The company sells various national brand names, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and private label automotive replacement parts, accessories, batteries and maintenance items for domestic and imported cars, vans, sport utility vehicles and light and heavy duty trucks.

I have gotten parts for old cars, new cars, oddball seals and things for old tractors. All this without even mentioning the staff. The crew here is a hard working group with TONS of experience. Walk in daunted and overwhelmed with a project and leave armed with the stuff you need and the knowledge to make it happen. All for a great price. Reminds me of the parts places when I was a kid. This is the real deal, people. Don't shop at the chain stores.... they are no cheaper and you will never get the service there that you get here.
