I was having trouble with my car battery. I went into Santa Paula AutoZone to get the battery checked out. Initially a young guy named Billy D. helped me out. He was extremely helpful and tested the battery. He noticed one of the battery terminals had corrosion on it. He removed the terminals and tested the battery again. My battery was perfectly fine, the issue was with the terminal. He then went back into the store and asked for the manager, Melchor to take a look. Melchor went above and beyond to assist me. We were able to replace the terminal and get my car starting again. Such great service, helpful and friendly. I will definitely be going back to AutoZone for all my car needs. The Santa Paula AutoZone is very conveniently located at the corner of Harvard and Palm. The parking lot has entrances on both streets. The parking lot is not real big, but more than enough. I've never had trouble finding a spot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They seem very knowledgable and know just what is in stock and where it is in the store. For items not in stock, they can order it and usually have it there within a few days. This AutoZone is my go to place for all my automotive equipment needs. read more

Worst AutoZone I've ever been to. Never had any big problems with autozones before but this place I've been to twice once to get an oil filter for a civic and another to get a front tie rod set for my truck. Both times they gave me the wrong parts which was a hassel because I only found out they were the wrong ones after I had taken the originals out, meaning I couldn't drive my vehicle to get the right parts. Just had a terrible experience. Was having car trouble and asked if they do battery checks. Man behind the desk said yes they do. And asked what was wrong with my car and proceeded to tell me what was wrong with my car, I asked 4 different times if they can check my battery and they said yes but would just give me an awkward stare like they weren't going to help me unless I purchased the part they wanted me to buy which wasn't needed. Fabulous! There is a lady (Beth? didn't catch her name) who works here who helped me out above and beyond any expectations this weekend. She came out to my car, checked out my wiper fitting, looked up my car model, walked me through 4 or 5 choices, and installed the new wiper. All with a smile and super efficiently. Service is great!! Every time I go here about 3 guys come out from behind the counter to help me, lol. These gentlemen approach as if they are at my beck and call, yet still need to carry their tough guy attitude. From snow chains to fuel injector to oil to filters they have everything. When I borrowed my parents' car for the snow last year, it needed new chains, so I went to Autozone. Upon asking what size chains I needed the guy muttered some directions to me about the tire numbers and went in the back - what the... Turns out he had no idea what he was doing and went to get another guy to help. By the time manly man number 2 came out, though, I had already written down every number on the tire. handed the paper to Man 2 and he called Man 1 back in. The two of them were looking at these number for about 2 minutes and asking each other in Spanish (hello, I work in this town, my interview was in Spanish, though my speaking it isn't the greatest I understand most of what's being said) which number was correct. I was a bit perturbed that this was taking up some of my time, and yet I found the entire scene to be quite entertaining. Needless to say in the end I asked them to see a box of chains and the boys figured it out from there - good job men!! I'll never forget the look on each man's face as I left with "Gracias hombres!" Absolutely agree with the prior review. Courteous, friendly and helpful. I was having transmission slippage problems and was sure I was going to need a new transmission. The guy behind the counter (Javier) said it might not be as bad as I thought, and recommended a product by Lucas for $12. Much to my surprise, that product solved the problem. read more

this Autozone is great! best autozone i have ever been too , they had a lot of cool neon lights for my nice ride & had a lot of nice steering wheel covers & shift knobs . i even bought a nice K&N intake to top it off !
