One year and three months later ,he performed a job that no one else would take.. It took great tenacity, A love for his job and work that was done to the best that anyone could have done to get my car.. From having one off parts made, trying to figure out the mistakes and wrong parts that been done to this Corvette over 20 years.. He and his workforce have the highest ethics, both professional and personal. I am 77 years old and I thought I would never drive this car again. Everyone else that has worked on it -- failed miserably.. I have been ripped off so many times in the past four years. It's just unbelievable how people have no ethics..Words cannot express how deeply I feel about all the work and all the time Ryan and Brandon patiently spent to achieve a miracle. This 1962 Corvette has had everything rebuilt , replaced or had new parts I feel that I could drive this car to New York and back, and never once worry about failing on me. If you have a project that no one else is willing to tackle or take the needed time to repair; I humbly ask you to go to Ryan's performance..He has honor and respect. in what he does on the job and at home.. I was a Vietnam veteran shot in 1968 and had to put trust in people that I didn't know so that we could stay alive. I Jim Evans would trust my life with Ryan. Thank you God for bringing me to Ryan performance. Nothing just happens. It was God sent You . can buy material things and fix a car, but you can't buy truth and trust as I have found at Ryan's performance in Lake Charles, Louisiana..Please do business with them !

I was totally nervous using a dealership's service department, because Dodge messed me up bad. (I had a dodge years ago, but I have a Toyota now.) Toyota in Lake Charles took my car in quickly the other day and was so kind and courteous. They even charged less than originally quoted. That makes me feel better ...like they won't charge for extra stuff or try to find more wrong just to make more money. My car came back today in great shape and I'm glad. I will continue to use this service department.

Before he rang me up he asked to look at my car to see if he would be able to get to it to change it for me (I was prepared to do it myself)..he pulled out the old bulb and noticed that it wasn't bad but instead it was just loose and therefor had a bad connection. He cleaned it out and tightened it back up for me and he even checked all my other lights and blinkers before I left AND DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING!! I will forever continue to use this Prien Lake location :)

One morning it was very cold and I went to start my car and it hesitated I didn't realize I need a battery. Once I got to work I heard in my research online found a battery at O'Reilly once I got off I headed there to purchase a battery. Once I walked in the store was packed with people that was a nice gentleman that asked me if he can help me I told him that I needed a battery keep mediately came over and gave me the options of batteries that I could choose from. I asked him if he could possibly check my battery to make sure it was good or not and he said sure. He came right out then the battery check-in realize my battery was bad which I already knew. He then went inside got the new battery for me I went on and pay for it I asked him if he would come out to put the battery in the car for me. He replied if you can give me a few minutes I'll be right out let me help to get the customers out of the store. Once he was done with the customers, he headed out to help me install the battery in my car. He was nice courteous and the service that I received was fast and impeccable once he was done he asked me to go in and start the car to make sure everything was fine. I also love going to O'Reilly because they have the California Scents air freshener that I like the ice and every so often I go and I check to see if they have my favorite air freshener I will suggest anyone that's having problems with their vehicle to head on to O'Reilly and get the best customer service you've ever had. Great place, Great Service.

This is the business model all auto repair locations should follow!!!!…read more I recently visited Lake Charles on business and had a bit of car trouble (obviously!). On the suggestion of a co-worker and by shear luck of location I ended up at Family Auto Service. Immediately upon arrival we were greeted by Daniel who was as pleasant as he was helpful. I briefly explained my problem and he said it would take about 15 minutes but he have someone take a look at it. Less than 10 minutes later he had an estimate for me. Less than 40 minutes after arriving I was on my way fully repaired! Currently under remodel the location was still decently well kept and clean. Outside appearance was pleasant and inviting. I didn't see much of the shop, however, what I did see looked very organized. I would recommend this location to anyone in need of repairs! The cost of repair was slightly more than I anticipated but well worth the service I received.
