I have been dealing with an issue with my camshaft position sensor in my 2010 Infiniti QX56 for…read moreseveral months now. I replaced that camshaft sensor, and then a new code came up for the crankshaft position sensor, which I also replaced. After all that work, I was still having problems like a rough idle and hesitant starts. While out shopping, I decided to stop at O'Reilly Auto Parts on Maynardville Pike in Knoxville, and honestly, that ended up being kismet. Jade immediately stepped in to help me. She brought out the OBDII scanner to check what was going on after all the work I had done. Unfortunately, it would not connect or pull any codes. Then things got worse. The SUV would not start at all, and I was completely stuck in the parking lot with no way home. After talking through everything, Jade suggested trying another camshaft position sensor (the one I bought was a cheap aftermarket on) to see if that would fix the issue. She helped me get the tools I needed and made sure the install went smoothly. It only took about 20 minutes, and I did the whole job right there in front of the store with her support and friendly chatter the whole way through. I cannot express how grateful I am for that. Jade genuinely cared, and in this day and age, when humanity feels bleak and lost sometimes, that means a lot. Jade did not just do her job. She showed real empathy and compassion, which is something the world needs more of. While helping me, she even shared some of what she is personally dealing with, and it created a real connection that you just do not get anymore. You all seriously need to give her a raise, a promotion and giant thank you, from me, I mean that. It is rare to find someone who not only cares about the company they work for, but truly cares about the people they help. This is a direct thank you to you, Jade. You are an amazing person and you made the experience at your store, excellent!

He said he would sell me a battery for my car but would not install it as it was too hard and complicated. We went to Auto Zone and had a very pleasant visit and they handled my battery issue with ease. I will never step foot into O'Rileys again. From other reviews, this is apparently a common issue at this store

Still my car was shaking and had a clicking sound. Found out from another shop they put the wrong weight on my tire and the weight fell off the tire as it was removed from my car.

After arriving at Pep Boys and having them checked out. The mechanic said one of the tires had a screw in the sidewall and wasn't repairable. So after speaking with the manager I went ahead and agreed to a replacement tire. Total price $131.34. I'm standing outside the bay when the mechanic then asks about the wheel lock. He still couldn't find it even though I said twice it was in the glove compartment. Then he lets me into the Bay Area to retrieve the wheel lock. Then I thought to take a picture of my low tire. After standing there for awhile I noticed there was a large screw laying in the parking lot right in front of the Bay Area. A few minutes later out comes the manager and asks why I'm taking a picture of her mechanic. I let her know I did not take a picture of her mechanic. I took a picture of my tire and also the screw laying in front of the bay. Also, I said to her I'm too old to be looking at young boys. Really she thinks a 50 something is after a teenager or 20 something. Get real. When I asked for corporate's phone number she said 1-800- Pep Boys. No one answered. After paying for the tire I let her know I would not return to that location. " Tires are expensive" quoted from the mechanic who installed the tire. If you plan on going to the Pep Boys at 106 Market Place Blvd, Knoxville Tennessee be on the lookout for large screws laying in front of the Bay Area.

He was patient, responsive, and went…read moreabove and beyond to make our deal happen-- even taking calls and working with his manager on his day off. His level of customer service is exactly what you hope for when purchasing a vehicle, and we would highly recommend working with him. Unfortunately, our experience took a significant turn for the worse once we entered the finance office. Despite clearly and repeatedly stating that we were not interested in any extended warranties or additional products, Christopher Blais continued these options in an aggressive and unprofessional manner. His approach felt more like pressure than customer service, and the interaction became increasingly confrontational and uncomfortable. What should have been a smooth and positive closing process quickly became one of the most frustrating and unpleasant car-buying experiences we have ever had. The level of pressure applied in the finance office was excessive and inappropriate, and especially after our repeated refusals. If it were not for David's efforts, we would have walked away from the deal entirely and taken our business elsewhere. While we strongly recommend David Householder, we cannot recommend the overall experience due to the conduct we encountered in finance. Management should take this feedback seriously, as it significantly detracts from the dealership's reputation.
