Like that's crazy. So my friend said hello good morning and the guy didn't even say pardon me excuse me like bro we standing directly in front of you for 2-3 minutes while you chatting like come on. Anyhow he brought the battery from the back at a certain point n it was all dirty n dusty n my friend said why is it so dirty. The guy said that's how it comes- but then another employee walked up and wiped down the battery with a rag which was nice. But why weren't we treated with fast attention and courtesy????? 6 people staring at their registers, two people on line. 17 minutes waiting to get called next on line at 1:45 pm on a Tuesday. This has been my experience every time I come here. By the time I left at 2:11pm, there were 8 people on line and the cashier to my left finally decided to take on the next customer. I been coming to this Auto Zone for several years it needs to improved and provide better customer service, you don't call out to your customer to "Come ,Come here!!" and then give them attitude because she has to do her job. Should be starless - Worst place ever, rude and obtuse staff. It should be noted that first off they have "some guy" (who's not an employee) who operates or works from their parking lot. I don't know if this place is a chain or a franchise but someone from corporate should pull there head out of their darkest orifice and come down there and do a secret shop on this place. I find it highly unlikely they would appreciate that this is how their name is represented and I think they would be just as appalled as everyone else who has commented. The few times I have had to go there were based on the fact that the store is supposed to offer the free service of hooking up your car to a computer to tell you why the check engine light is on. Each and every time my experience has been thus, you wait on the "pay" line, then once the cashier hears what you are there for they tell you to wait on the side until they finish ringing everyone - um depending on how busy the store is that can take quite a while!!! Everyone should be aware, there is NO INTELLIGENCE USED HERE to either grab an associate to continue ringing customers or page someone to take the reading. I don't know why I even bother coming here. I came here to buy a lightbulb for the front headlights. When I went to pay for it the price was 20.69 but I didn't have an extra dollar so I gave the cashier Jamna 40 instead. I never had someone with such an attitude giving me back money! Isn't money money? Would it have made a huge difference between 21 and 40 dollars? So silly! He was also rude from the beginning when I asked him for help. AutoZone has the worst customer service in America I swear. My order said unable to process my order 3 times but the charge went through my PayPal each time, they gave me the run around and it took over a week of calling every day to get sorted. So I asked to get the coupon I was using online to be honored in store and of course they said no , so I go find the parts in locomotive stores but it was missing something. It's usually organized here as far as merchandise. One employee is a complete ass all the time even if it's busy or not, everyone else is cool but they rarely go out of their way to help customers. The line to the cash register makes no sense. There's a big ass pillar in the middle of it which makes it even worse because the employees can't easily tell if anyone is on line. A sign says one register is for parts and exchanges only (unless they change their mind unannounced) and the other is for regular purchases. The regular register seems to never have anyone working there. You'll stand there like an idiot because your trying to comply with the signs but no employee will come, another customer will stand on the parts line to make a regular purchase and they'll take his transaction. Then you'll get on that line and wait and then an employee will show up at the regular register and people will rush over there. I've seen employees helping customers out in the parking lot. Seems nice but I don't know if I'd let them touch my car since some of them DO know a lot about cars and some of them don't and it's not like you can tell by looking at them. I needed a bolt for my lower control arm once and this guy swore up and down that I have to buy an entire control arm which comes with the bolt and they are not sold separately. Meanwhile I had already bought a lower control arm not too long before that and it definitely does not come with the bolts. If I took his advice I would've been stuck waiting for the shipment, then returned it and waited a few more days to get a refund on my card. But hey, this place is so close by that I'll remain a loyal customer until I live somewhere else. read more
