I talked to the salesman today and he tells me the car is only worth 3000 we owe 9000. You wold think they would try to keep a customer happy as of right now I will never come back. We went here a few years ago to get a Truxedo Low Pro Tannow cover put on our Dodge Ram. The…read moreinstall went fine and we didn't have any issues until recently. We went with this brand because we were told it had a lifetime guarantee. The latch wore out and the cover would not stay down. I brought the truck in and asked if we could get it fixed under warranty. Photos were taken and we were told they would file a warranty replacement. Brad told me he would call me. A week goes by with no call. I was told that they were waiting on parts. Two weeks go by. I call. Same story. Three weeks go by. I stop in. I explain I need this replaced so I can move my son home from college. He says he will follow up with the company and call me back. Did I get a call back? No. I called a few days later. A woman answered the call and said she would have Brad call back. Did he call back? No. A month and half goes by. Brad tells me he followed up and they are shipping the items. They will be here Wednesday the following week. I call the following Friday. He states that he doesn't have the parts. He would check. He would call back. Does he call me back? No. At this point it has been over a month and a half. I call Truxedo and ask if Brad from Diversified Creations made a warranty request. Truxedo tells me that there is no warranty request. She calls him and he says he is 'working with his supplier' for the warranty request and Truxedo told Brad they will work with me directly instead. Truxedo tells me that you don't go through suppliers for a warranty replacement - that's isn't how warranty replacements work. Obviously, nobody submitted the warranty replacement. Brad repeatedly told me he would get me the parts and they were on order but never even made the warranty request with Truxedo. Truxedo verified this. If you are too busy, or don't want to bother with the warranty replacement, just tell me so I don't waste my time. Don't give me the run around for almost two months and then make me find out through Truxedo that you never sent in a warranty replacement with them for my issue, even though you told me you did and the parts were coming in. You never bothered to call me back any of the times I called. I do not recommend working with this business.

I immediately took it to an oil shop, assuming it might be something simple. Turns out it was anything but. The car was retaining NO oil because the oil filter housing unit was broken and the filter itself was loose. Let that sink in. The mechanic was flabbergasted and flat-out said he could not believe a dealership sold a vehicle in this condition. This wasn't a minor oversight -- this was a serious mechanical issue that could have destroyed the engine if I had driven it any longer. This tells me one of two things: 1. The vehicle was never properly inspected, or 2. It was inspected and sold anyway. Either option is unacceptable. Buying a car should not come with immediate warning lights and a risk of catastrophic engine damage. I trusted this dealership and now I'm left dealing with stress, repairs, and wondering what else was ignored. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from [Dealership Name] to think twice and get an independent inspection -- clearly, theirs can't be trusted. I do have an older vehicle but have never had an issue with the remote start. Called the day after picking up my vehicle to address the issue and tell them they messed up my remote start but had to make an appointment. Of course they could not fix the remote start but did charge money to look at the problem. They blamed it on my older vehicle. Just a coincidence that the remote start didn't work after they fixed the power steering. Treated me like I was a dumb women, insulting my intelligence.
