Our car indicated it had a battery issue. Called them because I wasn't having any luck calling any place else. Spoke to Van. We got there and he checked our battery and alternator. Our alternator was bad. Car wouldn't hold a charge, so he said car wasn't safe to drive. We ordered the alternator and he suggested a shop to tow it too. He stayed with us after the store closed to make sure we were safe. He stayed with us as the car was hooked up to the tow truck. And he made sure the shop got the part. When we took the old part back for the $40 refund, they knew who we were just by me saying I bought a new one Friday night. A car breaking down is never fun, but Van went above and beyond helping us and we are very grateful. We were very lucky how things turned out. The shop he suggested was awesome too. A holiday weekend is the worst time to have car issues, but it all worked out.

We were repairing the exhaust on a 2002 Honda Civic and realized that we needed one more major part…read moreto complete the job. It was an exhaust resonator. We looked up the part online, and found that this Advance Auto Parts in Front Royal, Virginia carried it. I called and explained what I needed, and the young lady who answered said she needed to check on the part. She came back and started to say "we can have it here by..." and thought she was going to name a day of the week. Instead, she said "3:00 today". I was elated. Not only did they have it when we got there, they looked up the diagram of the entire exhaust system so we could make sure we had all the necessary hardware. These folks were awesome, friendly and with a sense of humor. I would highly recommend them to anyone in that area.

This dealership worked with our situation although it took a little longer they were able to get it right. We are getting our car delivered. I hope we chose the right used car and don't run into any issues. Needless to say, everyone we encountered during our visit at Lindsay Chevrolet of Front Royal were friendly and made us feel comfortable. The 2.5 hr drive was worth it, thank you!

My wife took my GMC Canyon in for a tire rotation, oil change and VA inspection. The person…read morerotating the tires must have never heard of either a torque wrench or torque stick. These lugs torque to 100 ft.lbs.per factory specs. It took a 24 inch bar just get them loose so I could re-torque them to specs. Do you think that you would be able to get them loose if you had to do it beside the road somewhere? By the way it failed inspection for some play in the passenger front hub which is fair enough but if they think that I would let them work on something more involved with my vehicle when they can't even do a tire rotation properly they have lost their mind. Never again..
