I had a problem with my battery. I went over to autozone and a guy named Louis (i think. I'm trying to remember his name) came outside and tested my battery. He at 1st wasn't sure about something because a tag he needed to read on the car was not visible. He got his supervisor to cone out. She helped him figure it all out. He then actually tested everything (alternator, and starter as well) he said it all came out good and there's nothing really wrong with my battery. This place is trash. I came in for an exchange since the sprayer on the bottle wasn't working properly. They would not let me change the bottle even with a receipt. I Said it was used okay take the sprayer from the new bottle and keep the new bottle. Employees are the reasons for the 1 star review. I've been coming here for almost a decade now but I try to just get what I need and leave. Don't expect much help from these guys or respect either. I always knew they were rude but today I witnessed it on a door dasher or uber eats guy. He came in with starbucks and dropped a cup on his way in. Employee immediately got mad at him and said to him , you better get me another one. It's already a bad day for this delivery guy and he said another guy is going to deliver the replacement shortly. The dasher puts the remaining drinks down on the table but the employee just yells at him to bring it closer to him. I wouldn't want someone to talk to me like the way he did to the delivery guy. Meanwhile the other cashier tells him to clean up the spilled drink... like what store asks customers to clean a spill? Who do they think they are? So the dasher said no, he's a customer and he's not cleaning it. I was up to pay and I told the guy behind the cashier he's wrong. He can't expect the guy to clean it and it was clearly an accident. Was lucky enough to had just enough juice to get here to get my car batteries swapped. Sadly they didn't offer that service due to lack of workers. The cashier worker was nice enough to direct me to another store but my battery just went dead and they couldn't help me jump my car. Was force to buy the battery and swap it myself. Luckily the worker was nice enough to lend me tools to help get the job done. He also mentioned if there's any additional tools that I may need just ask. Came back in, asking if I can get a brush to get the corrosion off before putting the new battery...and the manager wanted to charge me for it... SMH. Not only you did not help me, you want to charge me more? Aside from the good worker that was there that day. I wouldn't recommend this place if your battery dies out. I go inside and see an item I need priced at $150, then I go online and see it priced for $99 at Walmart- $100 at Amazon, I ask this guy if they do price matching which he says they do but only another auto store competitor, not amazon or Walmart. I search and the price was even lower at Pepboys , I ask " do you match Pepboys " he says they do , then he says we don't match the online ad, get us a paper showing the price. Basically these jerks went out of their way to NOT help me and not sell me an item which is clearly cheaper at all the other stores Including 1 which they said they'd match. First off, I'm not embarrassed to say I don't know much about cars and maintenance. I came here on Saturday to get windshield wiper blades and brake bulbs. I've been here a few times before and it's usually pretty easy to find parking in the lot. You'll usually see people putting on whatever it is they purchased for their car in the lot sometimes with the assistance of someone that works in the store. It's relatively easy to look up the wipers and bulbs that fit your car with the books that are available in each row that list the parts by make, model and year. Can't get any easier than that... Also the store associates are willing to help you just need to provide your vin number and they can tell you all the parts they have available that work for your car. Pretty much in and out of there in under 30 minutes. I never changed my own wiper blades before and the store associate helped me do that free of charge, and even refused the tip I offered. All in all a great trip to Autozone. read more

I come to this AutoZone only because it is the closest to where I live. I like how the parking lot is relatively large and spacious for anything you may need. However, I do not trust whoever is stocking the place. The website may say that something is in stock when it isn't. Additionally, the staff used to come to my car to install and remove the battery for me whenever I came to buy a new battery. The new policy now is to make me do all the work on my own while lending me tools. I think this is a huge mistake and really creates a negative customer experience. I can install a front light bulb on my own, but a battery? It's heavy lol! I like taking advantage of the 3 year replacement warranty on batteries. I usually place a reminder into Google Calendar for about 23 months from the date of installation and then come to have my battery tested. 9 out of 10 times, the battery isn't good anymore and I get a free replacement warranty. I bought an Optima Yellow Top this time, though. This may mean that I won't be able to take advantage of this any longer because they're supposedly solid state batteries. read more

A very nice local Autozone shop in my neighborhood. I come here often to buy some parts for my car, and today's purchase was for a car battery and a headlight bulb. The battery was a bit higher(or the same but I was a fool and I thought it was higher) than the previous one, so I couldn't tighten it. It took a while to get an employee's attention, but once I caught one he came out to my car and helped me tighten it. How kind he is! Great Service from Andrew. I came in to change my battery on my '09 Honda. As i was speaking to the front desk cashier, Andrew chimed in to assist. He suggested the best battery. He was more interested to help than the register person. He got to working on my car right away. Within 30 min i was done. I casually mentioned a cold start and once again, Andrew went above and beyond to assist. He checked my alternator and starter too! All checked out fine. When there's two people working at this store and two customers walk in you would think that one staff member helps each of the employees. Instead it's handled a bit differently. One person is on the computer looking for the first customers part while yelling to the other guy that's in the back looking for stock of the actual part. This usually goes on for several minutes while you are just standing there like an idiot looking around. God forbid you try to ask for one of the additional complimentary services they also offer like free diagnostics or battery charging. They will make excuses like the machine is broken or currently being used by another customer or make you wait forever until you get so frustrated you just leave. Aside from the parts the auto accesories are ridiculously overpriced so if you are browsing while you wait you will quickly loose interest in wanting to purchase anything at all. That's nice, but I didn't realize Autozone was a repair shop. After about 10 minutes of waiting on line and no one behind the register, I yelled, "Hello? Anyone there???" A minute later, an angry lady comes out from the back ... acting like I disturbed her or something. Actually, she looked like she just woke up. She proceeded to take customers with a scowl.
