I brought my truck into Valvoline Instant Oil Change for a routine oil and transmission fluid service. It was running completely fine when I arrived. Less than FIVE minutes after leaving the shop, I started experiencing serious electrical issues that I had NEVER had before. Whenever I go above about 3,500 RPM, my voltage gauge spikes and overcharges. My radio shuts off, and the electrical system goes haywire. This started immediately after the service -- not days later, not weeks later -- but right after pulling out. Before this visit, my truck had zero charging issues. Now I'm dealing with what appears to be alternator overcharging or wiring damage -- something that can destroy a battery and electrical system if not handled properly. What made this even worse was the way it was handled. When I called to explain what was happening and ask for help, they hung up on me. That is completely unprofessional. I trusted them with a simple fluid change. Instead, I left with a potentially expensive electrical problem and zero accountability. Very disappointed.

We were told that we had to have a $100 inspection in order to diagnose the problem. we also wanted an oil change on the 2010 f150. Bottom line , we were emailed a report about the lights, wipers, tires etc....for $100. They said to fix the problem we took it in for would be $1500.00.....that's in addition to the $260 they charged for the oil change and "diagnostic inspection". They couldn't even get the model of our vehicle correct...we have a 2010 f150, they billed us for a 2010 King Ranch. We will not return..
