I would rate this higher stars if I could…read more I was 2.5 hours into my 5 hour trip, and I heard a loud and unsettling THUD sound as my fender fell off and hit the highway. Pulling into the nearest auto repair shop I could find, I am so thankful I pulled into this one. The fender damaged the speed sensor wire. Joe (the owner) called around to many places to get that wire as he knew that I had 2.5 more hours in my journey. Each place he called did not have that wire. It was past the usual time to order things as it was getting late in the day, but he was able to pull some strings to order the parts for first thing in the morning that very next day. This didn't just feel like a cheap quick-fix repair shop, I felt completely taken care of. I went to a different repair shop back in November for my fender, and only 5 months later, it fell off again. While I cannot predict the future, this repair shop really does the work to make repairs that last. I am completely confident I'll not have my fender fall off again. The cost was not just simply reasonable, but it was an excellent deal! I told my uncle what I paid (as he knows way more about cars and repairs than I do) and he said he couldn't believe it was that good of a deal and expected it to be significantly higher. Considering the cost for the parts, and that he was able to pull strings and order them for the very next morning, and the superb quality of the labor, I definitely lucked out. Lastly, they go above and beyond. I just met Joe, but talking to him felt like talking to a old friend. He was friendly and professional to every customer. He could sense I was stressed and didn't have a strong background knowledge about cars, he took his time to explain stuff to me in a way that I could understand. He answered all my my questions with professionalism and honesty. Unlike other places, he didn't try to sell me extra services I didn't actually need and suggested ones I should consider sometime later this year. Despite just meeting him, he is very trustworthy and he goes the extra mile for you. If I didn't live 2.5 hours away from Corning, I'd solely go there for any and all future car repairs

There were even a few times when something small was corrected and I wasn't even charged. Metal was scraping a brake rotor and making noise and they adjusted it for free even though they still had to make the appt and put the car on the lift. I have recommended to friends and have heard similar good feedback. By the way...they have 117 Google reviews averaging 4.7 stars!

I had new tires mounted and ballanced. When I picked the car up they handed me a lug nut with stud that broke off and said "by the way, you are going to need a new one of these." They said they couldn't fix it that day because the vehicle was so new that the parts would take too long to get. Turns out that the stud was in Stock at the local auto parts store. They blamed the issue on the Honda dealer saying the lug nuts were installed too tight. When I got the vehicle home however I found that Kaprals over tightened them so much that I couldn't even loosen the lug nuts. Had to use a 2 foot extension on lug wrench to budge them and am surprised that no additional lugs broke off in the process. I also found that the tires were not properly inflated. I found tire pressures ranged from 28 to 40 psi on the tires they just installed. What Kaprals didn't mention was that to replace the stud on this vehicle you have to pull the hub. I ended up taking it to the dealer where it cost me $450 to fix but I knew I could count on it being done right. I had another experience a couple years ago. Had an issue with a car and brought it in for trouble shooting. They said they would get to it that day or the next. 5 days later after being told daily that they would get to it I finally gave up and took it elsewhere.
