When my windshield was cracked this summer by a flying stone, I was pretty rattled. At this point, I've never had to fix something like this on my car or attempt to make an insurance claim.
I called around to a few places in London that did windshield repair. Some people on the phone could not give me a price off the bat, others would, but would ask me if I was going through insurance and leave me in the dark as to what that all meant and the implications of it.
When I called Autostrata, the experience over the phone was totally different. I explained that this was my first incident and I've never had to do anything like this before. She clearly explained how the insurance worked and described to me the process. While it would cost me a bit more out of pocket to get my windshield fixed here, I was willing to pay more due to the service level I was receiving and the warrantees included.
When I arrived at the garage, I was driven to my house for the afternoon by their driver and was picked up a few hours later when the job was complete. They explained to me the instructions to ensure the window settled properly and processed the claim directly with my insurance company.
