I took it to his shop instead of him doing a mobile detail. When I met Ruben and he saw the motorhome he gave us a couple options. He recommended the paint correction which included: a) Oxidation removal b) Paint correction (wet sand and polish) c) Remove oxidation and add clarity and gloss to the surface of the paint. Ruben keep the motorhome for 2 days and when we picked it up the motorhome looked better than new. I have never seen such such a gloss. I was asked to send a deposit to secure my appointment, which I did, but I never received a confirmation or follow-up. When I eventually called, I was told my appointment had been given away, despite no one communicating that to me beforehand. If I am asked to pay a deposit, I expect the appointment time we discussed to be held for me. If that time is no longer available, the business should communicate that. I also want to clarify that I paid a **$40 deposit, not $25**, as the owner stated in their response to my review. I was then asked if the following day would work for me, but after confirming my availability, I again received no further communication. The lack of follow-up and repeated confusion around my appointment was not good customer service. The owner's response to my review also made it seem as though the situation was my fault, which is not an accurate account of how things transpired. I had already requested my deposit back, so offering to refund it publicly in response to my review felt disingenuous--especially when my previous request had been denied and the amount mentioned was not even correct. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business. Clear communication and honoring scheduled appointments are especially important when a customer has already paid a deposit.
